If anyone is still interested in understanding this vid, here's what happened: (The geometry of this explanation is best understood by referring to fig. 8 of the "flash" article cited above.) Without the excellent groundwork laid in the two cited articles, what happened would never have become apparent.
At time 0, the shuttle's thruster fires, slightly changing the motion of the shuttle and camera. This is directly evidenced by the change in apparent path of the stars in the field of view.
8 seconds later, the moving and expanding plume of exhaust gas crosses a region in space where it reflects sunlight directly onto the camera lens from a region which appears to the camera to be in the direction of the "second illuminator." Diffused, the exhaust plume takes one second longer to pass through this angle of reflection than the duration of the original thruster impulse.
Particles of ice near the shuttle were also warmed by the reflected sunlight, causing their velocities to change.
my first reaction is the blast theory. i dont know much about spac-physics, but the fact that they all changed direction at the same time makes me think the objects recieved that force, and did not accellerate on their own.

The missiles are faster than the other videos. Unless this the other ones were slowed down to see what's going on. Also there's more than one missile.
Ice particles reacting to thrusters; either blown away by them, or apearing to be moving relative to the background due to the space shuttle changing orientation relative to the iceparticles in the foreground. Many particles are effected, but the illusion has the biggest effect on the particle that is the closest to the camera.
@Eddieliebe The flash before the move would be the flash resulting from shuttle thrusters, note how the other objects moving in roughly the same direction as the primary object in question also change paths... or appear to do so as a result of the movement of the shuttle. I'm a believer, but this video can be explained.
Can't we do a little math here to figure out if NASA's explanation fits? Something about these being ice chips floating near the orbiter and when tiny corrections are made by thrusters they are blown around, maybe more like the camera angle changes in relation to the distance and trajectory of the particles already in movement would be my theory.
I'm not sure what these are, but I sure that they are not ufos. Because the change direction all at the same time and with the flash that I assume came from the sun. Probably solar winds then. But individually controlled ships changing corse so drastically and so perfectly timed? I would bet against it.
In that case a rock is considered a U.F.O, and then we should stop referring to alien craft as U.F.O. s. If that's what you believe it to be. However I'm not convince. I've been seeing these since.. forever; a lot of times when I look at the sky for a few minutes when stars are visible.
They look just like stars but they move.

Once I saw one moving for a few minutes probably, and as it past near (seemingly) a star; the "star" started to move as well. The first object then (don't remember if before or after it past the second object, but probably very close to it) changed its course and they both continued for alooot of time, I eventually left and didn't watch till they ware gone

Did they look like stars? Did they emit light? If not, what was their color, speed, what was the distance they ware managed to go through until they disappeared? were they going in a straight line or crooked?
You didn't give a whole lot of details, may be those ware just asteroids.
Once I looked through a night vision device and in a place where there's little light pollution and you can see those all the time, but they look totally different then those.

The probability (and Occams Razor) VASTLY favours ice particles/debris/other orbital objects, over "unidentified" objects. There remains a very slight probability that these are something as-yet unknown, but even then, the explanation will be something other than intelligently-controlled or alien objects.
(I am fully aware that "ufo" just meas "unidentified", however, many people do assume "ufo" means alien craft, etc.)
femr2;- what you nuts can't grasp, is that in space even the tiniest objects, bits of ice, etc, can appear large, being illuminated by unattenuated sunlight and distorted by camera artefacts, etc. You simply DON'T KNOW the distances of these objects, so you can't say they are "far away". They are at varying distances from the camera. The "curved trajectory" for example could be an object much further away in an orbital path.
To assume that these are UFO's is about as dumb as it gets.
Until you can positively identify these object (which change direction and trajectory) as bits of ice or whatever, than we have ever right to "assume that these are UFO's"...

Then could you suggest how a local shuttle thruster could affect an object so far away, and also what force was acting upon the object in order for it to travel in an arced trajectory.
Certainly not ufos. Probably swamp gas chunks watch trough an intentionally messy plastic or a footage about space debree after the destruction of a satelite.
If you look carefully between second 00:16 and 00:20 you will see an object that go faster than the other accelerate and after the flash of light go even faster making an angle of 90 grades. A dust particle can behave like that ?

Meteors, space junk, clusters of ice particles, my mother in law launched off on swamp gas, not even man-monitored satellites change course THAT FAST. It's impossible. It defies the natural laws of dead objects.

i find it interesting that the one thing that moves away extremely fast, first appears from the area which looks like a lightening storm is happening. by far the most amazing UFO footage I have seen on youtube was just some guy in his yard filming a giant storm cloud which was flashing every few seconds from lightening, and there were bright orbs of light flying in and out and around the cloud. i had it favorited but the user account was removed, or the video was, i dont remember.

The contrail overlay on the video which displays the true direction of objects in motion, simply makes the point clear that there are no other rational explanations: these were UFOs, plain and simple. Obviously, some station on earth was firing some form of particle beam / directed energy / laser at some of these, which then rapidly changed direction at 90-deg.+ angles.
I was convinced before the overlay, but now it's so obvious that debunkers will be choking on a rebuttle..

im a big UFO believer, however this video is pretty revealing. It appears that whatever they are are all reactive to the flash and most of the course change they all make is to the right (opposite of the flash). With that said, it appears to me that its merely dust reacting to the quick flash of the shuttle's thrusters. Nothing more.

Sorry but you are wrong becasue if a thruster had fired as you suggest the attitude and movement of the shuttle would have changed but other than some particles change direction but the position of the edge of the Earth stays the same so the shuttle has not moved att all so why fire the thruster. in addition basic physics would dictate that all the "ice Particles near the shuttle would move in the opposite direction of the thruster or be affected by it, but only some do.

If an icy particle drifts out of shadow into bright sunlight, then the side facing the light would heat up and start to evaporate. This would produce a force on that side of the particle making it change direction.
Good point - a constant force would generate a parabolic path whereas this particular particle appears to have been subject to a single horizontal nudge - the vertical velocity is unchanged and the horizontal velocity changes drastically in an instant. I suppose a single, small explosive evaporation on the Sun facing side could have done that. Or a collision. Either more likely than these being alien craft.
Look, many of us know what the term 'UFO' means. For those who don't it is Unidentified Flying Object. This means we can apply it to ANY currently unknown object that flys. However, in our society people have applied the term UFO to alien space craft, therefore when people talk about UFOs nowadays they are most likely referring to something extra-terrestrial. Being pedantic or trying to show off intelligence is pretty big headed, so i advise you not to.
Of course they are UFOs; they are clearly objects, they are flying, and they are UNIDENTIFIED. That doesn't mean they are alien beings. A more reasonable explanation is that they are some sort of atmospheric phenomenon like ball lightning. Who knows though, this video alone is not enough evidence to conclude anything about them other than that they should be the subject of further study.

I've never seen a UFO but I have a friend who claims he has.
He hasn't talked about it with anyone besides me and I know him to be a reasonable, sane and logical individual who has no reason to lie to me.
For me, this is evidence enough to accept the existance of the sterotypical saucer craft as a reality, the origins of which are still purely speculation.
Some are saying that these are particles close to the camera and the flash is the thruster of the shuttle which forces these small objects away from the thruster.
Either way, one must admit that it's difficult for laymen like myself to determine the size and distance of these objects.
Any conclusions we make may include influences of bias from unreasonable acceptance through our beliefs or unreasonable skeptism from preconcieved notions.

Ice particles reacting to thrusters; either blown away by them, or apearing to be moving relative to the background due to the space shuttle changing orientation relative to the iceparticles in the foreground. Many particles are effected, but the illusion has the biggest effect on the particle that is the closest to the camera.

Can't we do a little math here to figure out if NASA's explanation fits? Something about these being ice chips floating near the orbiter and when tiny corrections are made by thrusters they are blown around, maybe more like the camera angle changes in relation to the distance and trajectory of the particles already in movement would be my theory.

I've been seeing these since.. forever; a lot of times when I look at the sky for a few minutes when stars are visible.
They look just like stars but they move.
They move just like in this video (as long as it's time lapse) they move to one direction and some times change direction suddenly, I mean slowly but not gradually, just like in the video...

Once I saw one moving for a few minutes probably, and as it past near (seemingly) a star; the "star" started to move as well. The first object then (don't remember if before or after it past the second object, but probably very close to it) changed its course and they both continued for alooot of time, I eventually left and didn't watch till they ware gone

You didn't give a whole lot of details, may be those ware just asteroids.
Once I looked through a night vision device and in a place where there's little light pollution and you can see those all the time, but they look totally different then those.

The probability (and Occams Razor) VASTLY favours ice particles/debris/other orbital objects, over "unidentified" objects. There remains a very slight probability that these are something as-yet unknown, but even then, the explanation will be something other than intelligently-controlled or alien objects.
(I am fully aware that "ufo" just meas "unidentified", however, many people do assume "ufo" means alien craft, etc.)

femr2;- what you nuts can't grasp, is that in space even the tiniest objects, bits of ice, etc, can appear large, being illuminated by unattenuated sunlight and distorted by camera artefacts, etc. You simply DON'T KNOW the distances of these objects, so you can't say they are "far away". They are at varying distances from the camera. The "curved trajectory" for example could be an object much further away in an orbital path.
To assume that these are UFO's is about as dumb as it gets.

If you look carefully between second 00:16 and 00:20 you will see an object that go faster than the other accelerate and after the flash of light go even faster making an angle of 90 grades. A dust particle can behave like that ?

I've seen more vids where light emitting (ok, ok, reflecting) objects abruptly change direction. Authentic NSA footage.
Meteors, space junk, clusters of ice particles, my mother in law launched off on swamp gas, not even man-monitored satellites change course THAT FAST. It's impossible. It defies the natural laws of dead objects.

i find it interesting that the one thing that moves away extremely fast, first appears from the area which looks like a lightening storm is happening. by far the most amazing UFO footage I have seen on youtube was just some guy in his yard filming a giant storm cloud which was flashing every few seconds from lightening, and there were bright orbs of light flying in and out and around the cloud. i had it favorited but the user account was removed, or the video was, i dont remember.

The contrail overlay on the video which displays the true direction of objects in motion, simply makes the point clear that there are no other rational explanations: these were UFOs, plain and simple. Obviously, some station on earth was firing some form of particle beam / directed energy / laser at some of these, which then rapidly changed direction at 90-deg.+ angles.

It appears that whatever they are are all reactive to the flash and most of the course change they all make is to the right (opposite of the flash). With that said, it appears to me that its merely dust reacting to the quick flash of the shuttle's thrusters. Nothing more.

The moving objects are just specks of ice moving randomly near the orbiter. The flash of light is a firing of an attitude adjustment thruster that also disrupts the path of the ice bits. No UFO's here, sorry.

Sorry but you are wrong becasue if a thruster had fired as you suggest the attitude and movement of the shuttle would have changed but other than some particles change direction but the position of the edge of the Earth stays the same so the shuttle has not moved att all so why fire the thruster. in addition basic physics would dictate that all the "ice Particles near the shuttle would move in the opposite direction of the thruster or be affected by it, but only some do.

If an icy particle drifts out of shadow into bright sunlight, then the side facing the light would heat up and start to evaporate. This would produce a force on that side of the particle making it change direction.

Yeah but it would be a parabolic or gradual change of direction, not a 120 degree turn as shown in this video.

Good point - a constant force would generate a parabolic path whereas this particular particle appears to have been subject to a single horizontal nudge - the vertical velocity is unchanged and the horizontal velocity changes drastically in an instant. I suppose a single, small explosive evaporation on the Sun facing side could have done that. Or a collision. Either more likely than these being alien craft.

Look, many of us know what the term 'UFO' means. For those who don't it is Unidentified Flying Object. This means we can apply it to ANY currently unknown object that flys. However, in our society people have applied the term UFO to alien space craft, therefore when people talk about UFOs nowadays they are most likely referring to something extra-terrestrial. Being pedantic or trying to show off intelligence is pretty big headed, so i advise you not to.

Of course they are UFOs; they are clearly objects, they are flying, and they are UNIDENTIFIED. That doesn't mean they are alien beings. A more reasonable explanation is that they are some sort of atmospheric phenomenon like ball lightning. Who knows though, this video alone is not enough evidence to conclude anything about them other than that they should be the subject of further study.

I've seen this video in documentaries and analyze often on the net, but I've never seen it cleaned up and with as much detail as this enhanced video.
The objects do not appear to be moving independently and are more likely ice crystal or dust particle debris reacting to gas discharge from the shuttle.
Without anyway of cross checking this more thoroughly, Ill error on the side of cautious empiricism.

Dude, if you look up on chemtrail days, you can see some fast moving objects with your bare eyes. Look very closely, sometimes your eyes may not be able to keep up

one thing to keep in mind is that a technological generation is 18 months, therefore 20 years is 13 technological generations. That's a LOT of lost time.

This is not logical for any intelligently controlled being or craft. This has to be something with the camera. Maybe some crap in the lense box or camera housing.

Who says they are more intelligent? They could have more advanced technology without being more intelligent. Whether it be access to more powerful elements, luck, or even that they evolved to suite such a different environment that building this technology was 2'nd nature to them. Like eating for us. Who knows. Try to think vastly, because the universe isn't small.

I personally have seen what i want to believe is Alien Craft, but more than likely is just military reproduction. I know that there is an existance of life outside our planet, and it has been to Earth. I understand the concept and theory of the technology, and hope to recreate a better craft than the military can reproduce (one day far from now) and I intend to prove some-how that it's easier than it sounds. People don't understand that the technology to create the technology already exist.

I've never seen a UFO but I have a friend who claims he has.
He hasn't talked about it with anyone besides me and I know him to be a reasonable, sane and logical individual who has no reason to lie to me.
For me, this is evidence enough to accept the existance of the sterotypical saucer craft as a reality, the origins of which are still purely speculation.

Some are saying that these are particles close to the camera and the flash is the thruster of the shuttle which forces these small objects away from the thruster.
Either way, one must admit that it's difficult for laymen like myself to determine the size and distance of these objects.
Any conclusions we make may include influences of bias from unreasonable acceptance through our beliefs or unreasonable skeptism from preconcieved notions.
