I like this version better because I think the dance is supposed to represent the dancers as mirror images. So I think it suits Vocaloids better, since they aren't real. It's more, for lack of a better word, haunting.
@AzulEnergy Almost right... Aibon (Kago Ai) and Nono (Tsuji Nozomi) are not twins. They were just in a group together, in which their image was that of twins. They're not actually related.
I think people are confused by the two MEIKO's, as far as I have heard, they are not two sepreate charas, the MEIKO in black is... just... kinda there xDD I think it's just meant to represent another her :3 hope this helps xDD

You should know the people who originally performed this went through a lot of dance and voice training, and that saying THIS version is better, is just a slap to the face for them.

For me, I appreciate fine vocal talent like that of Ai Kago and Nozomi Tsuji. There's no emotion in this - it's really just flat and boring...

And what if someone who mainly watches vocaloid came across this and thought it was the original? That doesn't mean they should be pitied.

I just don't like when people go to the original video and compare it to this by saying "this is better/worse than the original" because they don't realize that is the original and this is the copy... I just think it's not good to get so obsessed with Vocaloid that one forgets the beauty of real singing... I just think it's too bad that they prefer computerized singing over real singing.

Maybe "pity" was the wrong word, but I do "feel bad" for those who are not aware of them, because they are two wonderfully talented people. People become obsessed to stuff to the point of where its unhealthy with just about everything though I hate to see it, its their choice and they like it. So I don't bother with it. I completely agree with you, but you DID put things harshly. Sometimes people just don't know, and you shouldn't get pissed off about it. And about people preferring computerized singing, its just what they like. Its not a bad thing.

It's important to see the beauty in real people and their performances, not just watch computerized people... I've learned the hard way and I hate to see people so obsessed with this sort of thing. I said things harshly but I didn't mean to put people off. A few years ago, (aside from the audio,) I may have liked this version better. But these days I'm happier because I let real people into my life.

@BlackHandRedHand I'm not saying this is BAD, but I think this is NOTHING compared to the original. I dislike vocaloid because it's flat and boring to me. I just don't think it's good to get too immersed in computerized stuff like this. It's much better to listen to real people, IMO. If people do like this, I STRONGLY urge you to give the original a fair chance, at least. That's all I'm saying, because this is a great song, but I personally feel that vocaloid kills it.

I like this version better because I think the dance is supposed to represent the dancers as mirror images. So I think it suits Vocaloids better, since they aren't real. It's more, for lack of a better word, haunting.

To clarify things.
This song was originally by two twin singers.
They made MEIKO cover it, and to do the dance a long with it. They just altered the color of MEIKO's MMD model to look like her twin.
Their is only one MEIKO. ( until her appends come out )
