i agree with it, but i'm hard of hearing/deaf .. i think of myself as a deaf person, but where you put the big D and the little d, what are we supposed to do when our family forces us to speak, be more involved with the hearing world and doesn't really let us be more involved with the Deaf World?
Interesting, as a 27 years old gay hard of hearing deaf guy....i have to admit that i do not miss the hearing world. In fact, i am happy being deaf, i learning ASL and it is just a beautiful language..i can't wait to learn more and be completely fluent in it.
i had dated few gay deaf guys and identify myself witht he deaf world even though i am hard of hearing. i choose not to wear my hearing aids because for me it is like trying to be hearing again and i have no intention of coming back being hearing.
Thank you for your VLOG! I was just looking at some ASL posts and suddenly noticed all the ones that included the word "Deafhood." That is new for me, so thank you for clearing up those issues!! :)
Thanks! Yeah, I did not think about it because I think it is best to explain Deaf, Deafness before Deafhood because I want make sure they understand what it means before Deafhood. Cool! :-)

I enjoyed the vlog! Added captions, too! I know that takes a lot of time and work! Help ASL-impaired people understand your point! :)

I agree. It took a lot of time to work on closed caption.

Yeah, I understand. Some Deaf people are like you. You decided what is comfortable for you. For me, I am so proud of being Deaf that God created us.
