  • Fantastic tribute to the 'Corns!

Mortar and pestle, very cool...for the coarse grind (lovely aromoa there I'm sure! )

Of couse you omitted the "Daily Grind" on purpose  that made me laugh!

I agree pepper is the king of spice, and this is just what your episode 400 begs for!

    Cheers! :)

  • @scarecrow1701 lol You know I had thought of that at the time. I was not too sure how to work it in? Perhaps, when I showed the bottle :) 'hindsight'

The pie requires plenty of the pepper lol! It is the king and I wanted to show that pepper 'RULES' !

    cheers, KtC

  • definetely 5 *****

  • I love the peppercorn :)

  • Ah- Chooo!

  • bless you!

  • "The Peppercorns"

sounds like a rock band LOL

  • lol

There is probably aband out there with the name.

  • mmmm.... black peppercprn sauce is so nice on steak

  • droooool

  • i love this blend of pepper.. i often buy a mix of them from the store. there is a 5th type of seed in there though. coriander maybe?

  • there is a red type however, extremely rare and used while fresh or shortly after harvest (not exactly sure?).

There is szechuan peppercorn but it isn't a peppercorn either. Coriander seed goes really well with pepper so it would certainly work (I use it regularly but not 'in' the peppercorn blend).

    cheers! KtC

  • Beautiful colors (both the sky and the peppercorns)....but unfortunately i dislike peppercorn :-(

  • Not all enjoy pepper, although it is found in most prepared foods. I have heard of some folks having allergies associated with it. Not sure.

They do have nice colour. cheers! KtC

  • Not allergic to it, luckily. But few times happened to me to chew on a whole peppercorn (we put them whole into salami, here in Italy...you're supposed to take them out from the slice, before biting it...but you know, sometimes you just need to chew the salami right away! :-D) and i started disliking the taste very much... now I can taste it even in small quantities... and makes me sick :-/

  • Haha, Loved the smiley face.

  • lol 'the pepper-face' cheers! KtC

  • What a great way to illustrate different peppercorns. I bet that mixture would taste great, especially when you have more than black pepper. Great vid.

  • Yes, a nice combo on flavour. A step up from the package ground pepper.

I wanted to address the peppercorn. It deserves it own vid :)

    thank you, KtC

  • so whats this taste like, i mean as far as i've known i've only had black pepper, i imagine this mixture would be pretty good for chicken or steaks

  • each has their own punget/ bitter taste. Also, much fresher with more colour too. You can select your own grind depending on the food being prepared. Meat tend to have a larger grind while other dishes more fine. Yes, great on chicken and steaks. I just added an older vid. for a response, check it out! KtC

  • yes the king of spices. where would we be without good ol salt and pepper ;)

  • Not sure? Odd though, I just had thin sliced beef on kaiser with beef juice for dipping. cheers! KtC

  • Beautiful! I like peppercorn blends a lot myself.

  • I receive comments on my choice of pepper and why I have an odd bottle for it lol

The blend is a bit more cash but I find you use less and it taste much better than just ground black pepper. thank you, KtC

  • if you feel ill(i mean wanna throw up, im from sweden:D) then eat a white peppercorn! It doesn't stop you from actually throw up, but it makes your stomach feel a little better. =)

  • I had not heard of that but it cetainly was used for variable medicinal purposes. Interesting.

    thanks for sharing, KtC

  • Pepper is the King of spices and you are the King of Cooking!! KtC = KoC :) <--looks I drew the same pic you did in the pepper ROFL!

  • the pepper-face :)

I like the new title! KtC
