@remyarabb1 many of the Norwegian and Icelandic legends, go back in the faroe islands through a dance wich you dance to a specific rythm, and just sing the storys/legends/poems (this dance was danced all over Scandinavia through the viking age), thats why there is a song made for almost every Faroese, Norwegian, Icelandic or Danish legend in Faroese.
