i agree completely. americanizatio n of philippines sucks. i am a foreigner (my mother tongue is not English), marriage to a filipina. I want to learn Cebuano, but they want to speak Taglish or english, even each other. I think English is the language of upper class,the Taglish the middle class, and the national language for the poor.

Balangiga massacre is not about the kill and burn/genocide done by the americans but of the massacre of the americans by the filipinos.....this is according to my paternal lolos and lolas who hail from Balangiga and elder relatives who still live there....i've been there a couple of times already.....and i am one of those hoping for the return of the bells.....

@goonies1919 its because the americans wrote our history. they built the schools too and the how will talk about philippine-american relations. thus, the story is that the samarenos massacred the yanks did even though it was right to resist foreign invasion. plus, the americans killed a lot more, and continues to.

Abner, this is a good documentary, very touching. Not all Filpinos knows about this thing especially the young ones, I am glad that you do this documentary. The bells must ring again in Balangiga. The US govermnent should return the bells soon, at least for humanitarian reason. It's been 106 years.

I think you don't know what you are talking. This is part of Philippines history and you can't say it is not twisted history because it is a fact.
I think we should learn to respect other countries history. The documentary focused on the bells that are hang not in their soil but in America.
