  • Paused the vid at 8:41, and couldn't believe how thin the liner-lock is. It's not even a full liner. Considered buying this knife until I got a good look at that lock. That orange one might lock up tight, now. But down the road . . . That could be a different story.

  • its taken u 5:00 to begin about the jimping,. thats late bro! LOLOLOLOOLO

    have a nice day,.

  • This blade really reminds me of the Leatherman Skeletool blade!

  • Yet another very useful review - thanks Nutnfancy. After seeing this video I bought the Ganyana Lite in both OD green and orange. They seem very well made and were very sharp when I got them, but I used my ceramic sticks to sharpen them to a razor edge (I always test by shaving a spot on my arm). The V-Holes had extremely sharp edges on them which made them a bit uncomfortable to open, so I 'detuned' them with some small files.

  • The Bladetech Lites,Kabar Doziers and Ontario Rat Ones are all made in the same factory.

  • How about the Kershaw OD-2 what do you katz think of that

  • Just got a Ganyana Lite in OD; Love it. It's great. Durable, affordable, functional... You said that it wasn't all that sharp, but mine was razor sharp when I got it new. Either they changed it after this review, or I just got a good one. My only criticism of the knife is that the pocket clip seems way too strong, and I have a hard time getting it off of my pocket. Anyway, great review.

  • got mine today. great little knife. comparable to a delica, but pops out faster and is a little longer.

  • good vid thanks for the review !

  • How would you compare this to CRKT's Drifter for about $10 less? I have the SOG Flash1 and the Drifter. I realy like the feel of the Drifter.

  • I just purchased one and it is a good edc knife. It has solid lockup, and the forward jimping is useful when performing fine cutting/carving work.

  • ive had this knife for about 6 months..right out the box, it wasnt very sharp. blade thickness definitely has a factor in sharpness or resharpening i should say. ive also switched out the frn scales to g10 scales, which raised overlall weight but well worth since the frn scales were really slick.

  • I've had this knife for a few months now and overall I like it. However I find it to be a hard knife to keep very sharp. Also, the sharpening itself is quite time-consuming. Perhaps these are a result of that thick blade.

  • I just got my Ganyana Lite and I love it! It makes a great skinning knife.

  • What is the web site to get the blade

  • automatic knives, or mostly reffered to as "auto" knives

  • noob lol

  • I going to pick one of these up now.

  • you need to do something on the textured handle below the clip- it has a strong grip on clothing and will eat up your pockets. Removing the clip and scraping the plastic texturing off helps a big deal.

Good product, I can confirm this review 100%

One thing I ´d wish was a thinner blade towards the edge (secondary grind forming the edge really makes it the knife it is)

If you´re searching for a scalpel-like slicer you should definitely loook into other blades

  • Can you please review the SMITH AND WESSON BLACK OPS SWAT medium.

  • S&W knives are... difficult. Some are decent. Some are complete bloody crap.

S&W strikes me as a company which hasn't decided yet whether they want to produce a decent product... or use their name recognition value to sell crap for more than it's worth.

I had one S&W which I threw away. I have another which I love so much I bought three of the exact same model. That's S&W.

  • I watched this video about four months ago, and as a result I bought the knife. Overall I've been quite happy with it: it holds an edge pretty well and is comfortable both to carry and to use. My biggest complaint is that it isn't American-made, which isn't a really big deal, but it means something to me.

  • Smith and Wesson knives ARE worth about 15 dollars.

I bought one for $8 and it was to show people an example of a bad knife.

  • Things I do like, shape of the blade & the lock up works well. The finish on the blade is not done well. The blade looks smudged after being cleaned. The engagemnet hole is ruff. The jimping near the tip of the blade is a trap for mud, blood and food. ITS HARD TO CLEAN. I contacted Blade-Tech. I was told this is not typical of the finish and would be sent another knife at no charge. Rember the price point for this knife. Still not bad for the price.

  • Just received my replacement knife from customer service at Blade-Tech. The new knife`s blade shows no signs of smudges and the deplment hole is finihed better no ruff edges.

  • dayum thats good

  • mmm... sexy knife imo. I really want to get one as an edc. Seems like it's up there next to the sog flash 1, 2 series. Maybe not as good as those, I don't know, but it's pretty cheap for what you're getting.

  • ive EDC's the sog flash 1 and its good but its really tiny, its hard to even get a good drip on the tiny handle im buying this in 5 minutes. i need something bigger

  • u could put a finger lanyard to get some extra control on that flash 1, does it have a lanyard hole I cant tell from pic's?

  • Yes it does, but it's not big enough for 550 cord.

  • very good video nutn, keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing some more knife vids

  • I just learned a bunch watching a couple of your videos thanks alot keep up the straight and skinny

  • Nicely done! I just picked this up at a warehouse sporting goods store fore $20! I'm really impressed with both this and the Mouse Lite for a pair of knives that cost me less than $50 for both. I look forward to checking out their U.L.U folder.

  • the jimping probably is for use as a skinner, taking the blade with fingers 1 &3 at the hole- or something alonmg these lines

  • Thanks for the review on this knife! I work part-time in a warehouse when I'm not in class and $2 utility knives from the corner store just don't cut it for me, pardon the pun.

    I just ordered a Blade-Tech Ganyana Lite :)

  • Now this is a Blade-tech I will be able to afford. Putting this on my to-get list. That orange is slick, and high visibility if you lose it. EDC blades should be at least somewhat easy to see if just for standing out more if you drop it in the woods, your house or where ever you may roam. I'm not diggin the clip either. I prefer something like what comes on most Benchmades.

  • reminds me of the Byrd Cara Cara

    great review 5/5

  • smaller..by quite a bit.

  • i was going to say the same thing, i have a cara cara and it very similar except the cara cara is large. i wonder if it the same factory.

  • Great comment on the color.I just finished, a camping trip, with a pink Endura.Nobody likes to lose their main tool, when camping.Bright colored knives tend to stay with you a long time.Great review.I've bought a few knives based on your reviews, keep them comming.
