@luudnoma I agree with what you said. However, in order to make new Gabby cartoons, there would have to be interest in this character to bring him back. Not too many people know about him and he isn't as popular as say Popeye or Casper the Friendly Ghost. Plus, No one currently at Paramount Pictures would want nor would they care to revisit its Fleischer/Famous Studios cartoon history.
