  • "Look at this poor little fella with the turquoise hat. Sadly the vet says he might not make it... stay tuned to find out if anything can be done for him..."

  • JAKE THE PEG LMFAO

  • Yea... play with Santa's Ding-a-Ling?!? hmmm... bit perverted there Rolf!!! :/

  • if this is 1972, why has rolf written happy xmas 1973??????

  • @cooking23

Look again.. He wrote "Happy 1973", and if its Christmas 72 the New Year is very close! And wishing everyone a "Happy 1973" is the correct thing to do..

  • 17 people here like playing with their ding-a-lings, one person's ding-a-ling broke years ago.

  • not arf mate...

  • Whenver this song was played on TOTP, they cut to drawings of characters with bells, so reassure the audience that this wasn't a song about Chuck playing with his cock. So as a christmas treat, they got Rolf in to draw them as the song was playing

  • I think I can remember reading somewhere that Chuck used to do this song live for a bit of fun and nothing more, but when a bootleg copy of it surfaced of him singing live, he had to quickly release one of his own...or something to that effect!

  • What a strange dream! I think I remember that the single version was recorded in England as well, but his laid back demeanor is pure gold on this one. Always loved this tune.

    Thank you!

  • doesnt quite sound right with the TOTP audience singing :)

  • It's not the TOTP audience, it's the single, which was recorded live. That's why Rolf is there, because Chuck Berry couldn't make it & they had no video for it :)
