I think the crew made Bobby Generic on a green screen (Remember "I've Got A Secret" and Alex Trebek's short lived series "Malcolm"?). It's very identical to the way the green screen guys move Bobby's arms and legs.
If it was like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", they'd needed a bigger budget to pull it off.
I even think Howie did Bobby's voice when the camera was on Bobby.

Hey, im not trying to degrade any mental sufferers out there..and unlike u, I dont think people need ur sympathy.. DOCTORS and ex sufferers will tell you that OCD, panic and anxiety , depression is very simple to CURE! These are EX sufferers not books or what you think u might know about this mental stuff. Not even psychologist or pills can help, so why not TRY other forms to help out instead of sayin "stop hating on mental illness people".
Some phobias are easy to cure, but anxiety, depression and especially OCD are not. In fact, there is a an 80% relapse rate with clinical depression and most anxiety disorders stay with the sufferer for life and can only be managed but never cured. The thing that harms sufferers the most is people expecting them to just 'snap out of it'. Medications have shown to help greatly both long and short term.

That attitude is disgraceful and smacks of ignorance. People with mental illness need to feel they can talk to others, both sufferers and non-sufferers. They need as much support and understanding from others as possible. Talking about any kind of illness helps the sufferer to feel he/she can express how they feel to others. This can even aid their recovery/management. Being isolated and marginalized does not help at all! BTW, mental illness is not a positive thing. That is reality.

Oh this was a great moment. A great reminder of my favorite animated series growing up, BOBBY'S WORLD. Howie did a great job with that character and it was a gimmick that was great; in the days when gimmicks were not all that common. For Howie to be able to get this to happen quickly for the contestant and make it believe able to the audience is very extrordinary. It is one of my favorite DOND moments other than the 1st millionare. Bobby gets 5 stars for his appearence.
So I always wondered how the hell they do stuff like this. They all must have been in on it for the home audience. Unless it was like some crazy camera trick to make it look like he was really in the studio.
Bobby was a cartoon character created by Howie Mandel. He didn't draw Bobby (as far as I know), but he created the storyline for him and his family. Plus, he voiced Bobby. :)
My god, I miss watching Bobby's World... Plus, it's great to see Bobby on Deal or No Deal. I only saw Bobby's World on Kabillion ON Demand when I used to have Comcast before I switched to AT&T U-Verse since early March of this year.
First he had a freakishly long, curly, ugly mullet.
Now he's bald, has a soul patch, and erring, and looks like he's either Mr. Clean or gay. It was a long time after Deal or No Deal started that someone told me he was the guy from Bobby's World, and at first I didn't believe them.

Oh this was a great moment. A great reminder of my favorite animated series growing up, BOBBY'S WORLD. Howie did a great job with that character and it was a gimmick that was great; in the days when gimmicks were not all that common. For Howie to be able to get this to happen quickly for the contestant and make it believe able to the audience is very extrordinary. It is one of my favorite DOND moments other than the 1st millionare. Bobby gets 5 stars for his appearence.

yeah it was on a TV screen. Since our viewing wasn't in sync with the taping (non-live) they just cut and paste to fit what we see here.

Bobby was a cartoon character created by Howie Mandel. He didn't draw Bobby (as far as I know), but he created the storyline for him and his family. Plus, he voiced Bobby. :)

My god, I miss watching Bobby's World... Plus, it's great to see Bobby on Deal or No Deal. I only saw Bobby's World on Kabillion ON Demand when I used to have Comcast before I switched to AT&T U-Verse since early March of this year.

First he had a freakishly long, curly, ugly mullet.
Now he's bald, has a soul patch, and erring, and looks like he's either Mr. Clean or gay. It was a long time after Deal or No Deal started that someone told me he was the guy from Bobby's World, and at first I didn't believe them.
