In the Uk for instance you could marry at age 12 if the family agreed this was changed in Victorian times....its much the same in most countries pre Victorian age.

The Judaic religion accepted early marriage at time of the Prophet also although as in Islam no sex pre puberty etc.

Also Re homosexuality there are references to Lot and immorality and male rape but not what we nowadays would think of gay relationships, the prohibitions come from later Hadiths some 100 years later.
