Where did you launch from?? I live in SLO and it seems that the top of the grade would be a great place to launch and fly. Even madonna mountain seems doable.
@dotnetdotcomdot we have a launch spot lower on the hill, where we need to launch into a thermal and climb up from there. The grade IS a great place to launch and fly from! Madonna is flyable, but we have restrictions there because of the airport, normally we fly the smaller ridges next to Madonna and Laguna like, by special permission.
