Im a Japanese. The best way to have fun in Japan I think is to have Japanese food

such as sushi, tonkatsu, katsudon, ramen, soba, udon, takoyaki, yakitori, okonomiyaki, etc. These arent so expensive, but delicious. In order for you to enjoy them, you need to be able to use chopsticks properly until you can pick up a small bean with them smoothly, so I strongly advise you to practice them before the trip to Japan.

ya true Japan is a visit for once in a life time at least, but once u go, u want to keep going there. i think having to think to go now at the time they are badly effected with the economy maybe is an advantage now maybe they have lowered prices there
