  • still dont have the balls to completely take mine apart yet.........

  • Comment removed

  • @Keith459001 honestly the glock series are the easiest guns to take apart. i was afraid i was going to mess it up or do something wrong. but it's as easy as a child's puzzle piece lol. and besides bro your going to have to take it apart sooner or later cause you need to field strip it to get a really nice clean gun. just watch this video while your doing it.

  • thanks so much!! great info rrs7375@aol.com

  • Nice video - thanks!

  • It's usually a bad idea to put a digit into the chamber, if the slide goes back it could cut off your digit.

  • Thanks man..

  • If you're blind or using invisible rounds, it's a great idea to stick your finger into the chamber! I'd even go as far as sticking my finger in the chamber 15-20 times to make sure there are no rounds in the chamber. P.S. Blind people don't shoot guns.

  • when your a beast like me you put your finger in the chamber!!!!

  • i put my finger in your moms chambers

  • what a duche bag

  • You misspelled "douche bag."

  • Gawd that pistol is sexy.

  • I didnt know that u gun has shit in it! I mean,...like those in the video...

  • all u really have 2 do is take your magizine out and clear the chamber then point it in a safe direction then dryfire then u do what you doNEVER PUT YOUR FINGER IN THE CHAMBER

  • Sweet. Good safety precautions too.

  • i have a question i hope you can help... when i field strip my glock 23 i notice that the recoil spring is not sitting correctly.. it doesnt come of of the place its supposed to be. but it seems to move up alittle. does that happen in your glock too? or is this a problem and should contact glock?? it shoots fine.. just wondering thanks

  • my glock 23 does the samething... i asked a guy at the range who has the same gun if his does it as well... he told me that all glocks do this when you take the slide off... he said jsut be sure to push it back into place before putting the slide back on and it will sit correctly until you take the slide off again...

  • thanks alot for the reply.. It helped alot

  • does it on my new glock 21 sf too

  • im sorry. NEVER STICK YOUR FINGER INSIDE THE CHAMBER. UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACCIDENTLY TAKE UR FINGER OFF.

  • haha yeah if the slide unlocked hes fucked.

  • Obviously u have never taken a gun course. You remove the magazine and pull the slide back, it locks into place, you look AND FEEL to make sure there is not a round chambered. Then u push the lever that releases the slide, dry fire in a safe direction, the trigger locks rearward and your safety check is complete. Have u ever fired a REAL gun?

  • there were so many times where I wanted to say thats what she said

  • Thank you... Very helpful!

  • The Glock is an icon of the hand gun world

  • So is the Browning Hi-Power, Colt 1911. S&W 29 and a plethora of others. It's a matter of opinion which handgun is best.

  • Thanks dude, just got mine today and wanted to do this. Your vid made it very easy.

  • Just picked up my glock today from the store. Thanks for the video, I wasn't getting anywhere with the instruction manual.

    Very helpful.

  • Nice Glock. I FOUND WORLD'S FASTEST FULL-AUTO RUGER 10/22 ! Take look at my YouTube video.

  • hey wat da hell does airsoft mean???????

  • Very helpful, thanks for the vid!

  • thanks for watching

  • The Glock remindes me of the AK-47. It's a very simple machine, yet very reliable!

  • excellent video.

  • wow i was very confused gonna have to watch this one like 20 times, jk nice vid

  • That's very handy for a new owner. Should make cleaning a breeze.

    Thanks!

  • THAT is extremely helpful. The person who sold me mine said it was extremely easy to do, but couldn't show me cuz she was from the back office of the store! Your video makes it feasible for a starter. Ignore the loser idiot comments below.

  • THe way you hold the gun when removing the slide is wrong. That's the reason why it's harder for you to remove it.

  • Daddy didn't pay enough attention to you, did he?

  • LOL

  • Hmmm... the 21 or the 23?

  • holy shit i didnt realize it takes about 30 seconds to field strip a glock...dammit thats easy..

  • I was going to get a 19, but I shot the 23 and fell in love with it. Besides, I heard that you can always just get a g19 mag and barrel and drop them into a 23 and it will shoot fine

  • free bird Lord help me i cant chaaaaannnggeeee!!!

  • glock 23 is my favorite!

  • glocks are the best i have 3 but the 23 is my self defece gun

  • glock is the BEST pistol EVER

  • its a very good gun

  • does anyone know if its different for older model glock 23s because the platic piece that goes into the recoil spriing is not capable of portruding through the front under the barrel. the flat end of the plastic piece in the recoil spring is too wide for the whole directly under the barrel

  • exactly what i needed thanks!!

  • don't want to sound like a know it all but when you close the chamber of the gun, you should never ride the slide with your hand. always just pull and let go. The gun is seriously made to be treated like a whore.

  • nice video, i find it really annoying that when you search for a "glock" people have a bunch of videos about their airsoft guns.

  • ya i hate that2

  • me too

  • Excellent illustration.

  • Useful video. Thanks. I am planning to get a G23 soon -- seem to be very useful and reliable pistols.

  • I notice many ppl have their own way of removing the slide assembly, personally I find them all difficult to do lol. well except the standard method. I find it quite fast easy to manipulate.

  • your going to give you gun a paper cut

  • ha ha ha dose that paper stand for zombie squad ???? i kno who they are

  • huh ?

  • awsome , thanx for the advice

  • you said it like you'd own a glock. don't lie.

  • what the difference between a glock 22 and 23 .40 cal ? any advice would be great

  • The G22 and G23 use the same ammunition, S&W .40. The main difference between the two pistols is that the G22 is standard size, and the G23 is compact. I myself prefer the G23 over the G22 cause of it's size, it's not too big, nor is it too small for a large hand. Both are great pistols.

  • check out the smith and wesson mp. nice little feature where you dont have to pull trigger to field strip. No more accidentally shooting yourself.

  • Accidental shootings wouldnt be a problem if people knew how to handle guns.

  • who the hell tries to strip a hand gun before checking to be sure it is empty? just curious...

  • anybody know what year they started to ad the light rail and hand grips to the Glock reason i ask is i just got a hell of a good deal on a glock 23 that is used its in great condition i would like to buy a new recoil spring for it and thats it. i would just like to have some type of ideal on how old it is. i paid 350 for it aint bad at all

  • I think around the mid 90's

  • are you serious? if you are then no it is a semi automatic

  • lol

  • No its not. As long as you pay for a 200 dollar tax stamp and file to paperwork with the ATF you can own full auto weapons, silencers, even military grade mini-guns.

  • My bad. Thought it was illegal.

  • Agree with the others, great vid. Bravo!

  • Thank you!

  • Good vid, best part: quintuple checking to make sure it is clear!
