He's sick because he's a homophobe (and personally, I believe being a Repugnican is sickness too - if not, then it's certainly a moral deficiency & character flaw). And Keyes doesn't want to stop murder - he wants to stop abortion. BIG difference. Murder is when you kill someone who's living. But since you're not counted as being alive until you're born yet, then it's not murder. It's like saying that shooting a corpse is murder.

...once they're born? The very same people who are against abortion are against food stamps, welfare, AFDC, Head Start, Social Security, disability and obviously have no problem at all with the fact that most of the people living under the poverty line are children. They love their guns but wonder why kids go to school with them when we glorify the use of wanton violence in virtually everything we see. And then we treat sex like it's something sinful & awful.

Obama strongly criticized the Supreme Court decision upholding the partial-birth ban.
In the Illinois state Senate, he opposed a bill similar to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which prevents the killing of infants mistakenly left alive by abortion.
And now Obama has oddly claimed that he would not want his daughters to be "punished with a baby" because of a crisis pregnancy -- hardly a welcoming attitude toward new life.
