When Jeff sang live...ever version was different and unique. He could of just gave a standard redition of the song, but that was not his way...hence his live performances are the real deal for me. This is what playing live is all about. Some bands have done it by incredible excellences of musicianship. Jeff did it by spontaneous emotional inspiration .imo
