Does anybody think it is possible to work comfortably with this big (10400mAh)battery(6hrs life) _ or does it make sense just buying 2 smaller (5200mAh)batteries(3hrs life each)?

@ThThThThThThaMan i would go with a couple originals. nothing those big battery's wile awesome and cheap if you get a good one there is alot of defective ones out.

10400mah and all you got was 6.67hrs?? i have an 8800mah battery in my cpq v2000 laptop, which has a 1.8ghz pentium-m cpu and a 14.1" widescreen lcd, and i can play two full dvds in a row on one charge. that's 4 hrs+ with a spinning disc drive, crunching cpu, and a bright ccfl backlight. the eee, on the other hand, has only flash memory, a tiny cpu, and an led backlight to run-- what gives?

well, the 701 EEE PC is running a Celeron CPU, it's not as efficient as you might expect :)

yes, it workd for both 12G and 20G (900 models)... but we will have a new battery for the 901 and 1000 models (when they are released)
