I click on this and go, is that really her. Looks like some karaoke bar or something with some local girl gonna try and sing. First line out of her mouth and I go YEAH. You hear that voice? Strong, perfect inflections. Local girls don't sound like that and that's why she's a country music star. Two back up musicians, no studio smooth overs, no glitz, no hype. Just raw naked talent. Awesome. I love it. Great harmonys too, and sing'n bass players always amaze me anyway. Hell yeah !

@drrjim You saved me a comment! I have been horrified since I learned of the use of AutoTune (or however it's properly written) that somehow corrects peoples' voices who can't sing. I had no idea such a thing existed until a few years ago. Now I don't even want to go to concerts, wondering if I'm being cheated in this way. It's sickening!

I've heard Jo Dee sing live many, many times, at Fan Fair many times, in concerts everywhere, at fan parties; bottom line is that she's the best live performer in show business today. Shannia once said when asked who was the best female country singer alive today, answered Jo Dee. Only phonies have to limit their live performances and lip sync, or worry what comes out of their mouths on stage...not Jo Dee. Of course, Shannia is also the real deal...
