  • Like pittbulls and snakes these devils are vicious.

  • cute and deadly the perfect combination!

  • 0:30 Tasmanian devils bark, just like the tasmanian tiger!

  • The Dare Island Enigma is a novel concerning the Tasmanian Globster that was found in the early sixties see video book trailer

  • I want one

  • I loved this vid, these animals are so cute, I'll have to travel to tasmania just to see them

  • the spotted one @ 3:35 reminds me of the fat mouse in Cinderella when he was scrambling for some corns and tries to carry a bunch back to the hole in the wall.

  • it seems the best answer to saving these lil guys IS domesticating these, send a few to america plz =)

  • @PrinceKilborne. Tassie Devils cannot be successfully domesticated...and you wouldn't want one. Keep them wild...These devils are not domesticated in anyway...they are just naturally curious, gentle and mischievious animals by nature, what you are seeing in the video is very much the nature of the Tassie Devil and every Devil's personality is different. A lot have attitudes...just like humans!

  • @Wizardcorpfilms Every animal can be domesticated, just like dogs and cats, we sis it with them and we can do it with any other animal, it just takes generations of the species

  • @ShLo16. Well you are welcome to come try. I'll give it a miss. I like to see animals free. No animal can completely be domesticated. The call of the wild/instinct is ingrained in even what we call domestic animals such as dogs and cats, they still kill, hunt and can revert back to a wild animal instantly when forced to fend for themselves. They are unpredictable. Domesticating wild animals is not the answer to saving them. Stopping the destruction of their habitat, may be a start.

  • @ShLo16 Umm either you just made that up or your sources are wrong. Many animals cannot be domesticated, look up "domestication" on wikipedia for more info.

  • I Just Love Taz!!! (^_^)

    I Want 1 So Bad:oP

  • nice

  • "Completely wild"? Feeding them contributes to domesticating them.

  • @Greyflatlander . Thank you for your comment, however it seems you did not listen to the commentary very carefully. These Devils have no food in the area. They are starving to death due to logging of the area and poison being laid to kill their food source. We do not feed them enough to be dependent, just enough to give them the strength to hunt and scavenge, which they do due to the inspection of their droppings. Only now is their food source repopulating. Check the website for the facts!!

  • "taz of tasmania, taz of tasmania"

  • soo cute

  • lol fat ass at 3:22 trys to take em all but cute

  • dog dude....dog....duh

  • cool video

  • i want one , highly theoretical what does one need for survival ? space , food etc etc

  • What a beautiful place! I am a born and raised yank but Tasmania is on my top 3 places to visit before I die. Stunning and unique flora and fauna, like stepping into another world.

  • @smokielol I took some american friends to tassie in 2008 and they loved it! Still talk about it to this day.

  • haha cute lil murderers ....

  • @alanxxx1000 Marsupial....they actually have a backwards facing pouch.

  • son re lindos.pero malos.

  • Thank you so much one of the best video I have seen about animals, great job at doing you part Pierre

  • Ohh.. Kawaii! I want one for myself! But one that wont kill me. :)

  • I got to hold a baby tassie devil :)

  • Are there any tame devils as house pets ?

  • @Hillsillverr No we don't tame the Devils, we only have wild devils on our property.

  • Thank you for posting this video. It gives us a new appreciation for these fascinating creatures.

  • they are so cute, they are my fav Australian creature.

  • at 2:50 the lady moans o_O

  • how cute!! they are like little bears and half skunk lookin lol

  • I love this video-- you are doing a wonderful thing for these devils. I'm a Canadian biologist and I've worked with endangered species in Madagascar for 23 years (I don't live there but go there often)... it's so great to know that there are caring people like you around to help these fabulous and fascinating animals. How many devils are in the population that visits your house? I still think there might be a chance that the Thylacine is out there somewhere. As Tasmanians what do you think?

  • cara pareceque sou o unico brasileiro mais depois dessse video comecei a me entereçar por esse animal

  • Have you seen any since Faith with FTD? And what's the current thinking? A virus? Poor little girl, Faith. She must have tried her best.

  • A remarkable vid. Tell us in America how to help! And what is the current health of your local population?

  • Жадина))))))))

  • But isn't it a problem to feed them? I mean, they need to stay independant to survive, don't they?

  • @keanu92i . If you got the gist of the video you would understand why they are being fed. Also the amount they are fed is not enough for them to survive on and we monitor their dropping for signs of animal fur. So they are not dependent. They are fed because there is no natural food due to the logging in the area where wallabies etc have been poisoned to stop them feeding on new plants. These devils are starving to death. We only give them enough to keep them strong enough to hunt/scavange.

  • We feed them as a necessity which i might add costs us a fortune with no financial return. We do not allow the public to our property so it is not about exploitation. We show the world in the hope that they will also help the Devil. It is not only the Facial Tumour Disease that is threatening to wipe out the Devil...it is human greed. If you lived everyday here, and watched these Devils starving, sitting at your window desperate for food. Would you ignore it or try and make a difference?

  • Alright, I was just wondering. Thanks for the explanation and good luck.

  • @Wizardcorpfilms I appreciate what your doing for the little critters. It would be heart breaking to hear them screaming and starving. It would be nice if you could get some area closed off for them to be.

  • I want to take a trip just to see a tasmanian devil, and quoll(in american field guides they are called tiger cats).

I am really sad about the loss of the tasmanian tiger, I hpe quolls and devils don't see this kind of future.

  • Unfortunately the Tasmanian Devil looks to be heading that way in about 20 years, if they are unable to find a cure for the current Devil Facial Tumour Disease. There is hope for the first time, let's hope something comes of the current research.

And yes the Quoll is also referred to as the Tiger Cat...however Quoll is their correct name.

  • the tanzanian devil are infected with cancer and we have to find a cure or they wouldnt be here for long

  • Yes they are and these amazing animals on this video may not exist in 20 years. The disease has now hit the Boomajaril Devils. Are you contributing to the fight to save the Tasmanian Devil?

  • I am currently giving support to the save the Tuatara, I would like to study and travel to tasmania to help research a cure. I think everyone should see these miracles of evolution, as they are one of a kind. I knew about this disease a while back, and it got me to be re-invested in them. I think the problem is that most people think that they are fictional, many years ago I had to explain to a TEACHER that they were in fact real. It is hard to save something people think is fictional.

  • I'm glad this isn't ANOTHER sensationalist video that shows the Tasmanian Devil as some wicked vile creature. Sad that they're endangered.

Most wild animals seem vile when fighting; tigers, wolves, even wild mountain goats. Somehow these little furry marsupials are known mostly for their vicious qualities.

  • DoohanOk....Can you let us know what experience you have had with WILD Tasmanian Devils (not captive). Are you making your judgments from Docos and TV reports? Have you actually observed the nature of a real Tasmanian Devil in the flesh? Well we do every day, so we are kind of in the position to report on the temperament of the Devil, along with the Scientist who handle them everyday in the fight to save the Devil. Can you back up your claim that this is a false representation? They are wild

  • are they marzupial or something else? Are they on mainland Australia in the wild also?

  • @Anglichanen - The Tasmanian Devil is a marsupial as they have a pouch. They are only found in Tasmania. They once were throughout Australia. However they may soon become extinct as a devastating disease/cancer is killing them.

  • they are so cutee=)

  • wait i thought they would killa human and wouldnt they kill eac other is it true?

  • @HiloJordan : No they a scavengers...they will not kill a human! They wont even come near you. However like any animal they will bite if cornered and afraid. If you are dead then yes they would eat you. They will eat each other but the Devil will have to be dead first. They are however still predators and will kill small animals that are not fast moving. Overall though, they are just scavengers and very sweet animals. That are not really viscious animals.

  • They are cute as can be.

  • They are so cute n' aggressive at the same time, I love them so much :)

  • is it barking? lol weird animal:P

  • thanks for a great video

  • Don't there ears flash red when their happy lol. I saw it in a magazine

  • Do they spin in rea life??????????

  • No Tasmanian Devils don't actually spin like the cartoon character.

  • What's up with carnivorous marsupials and large jaws?

  • Taz from Bugs Bunny is not black with white spots. And Maro from Blue Dragon is baige in color. Are there other light colored devil creatures?

  • No...TAZ is a fictional character and was created when little was known about the the Tasmanian Devil....All Tasmanian Devils are all black or have white markings usually white stripes on their chest and rump...All Devils have individual markings...Every so often, as rare as it is, an all white albino Tasmanian Devils is discovered.

  • Cool.

Beware of....Thank you ,for doing well!!

    ).

  • Greedy little shit! DAMN!

  • ...not vicious? let me tell you about how they procreate. A male just comes waltzing into a females den, beats her into submission, and rapes her. then the female beats the male out of the house also. then when the several offspring are born only 4 survive and the remainder becomes food for the mom. They scream in a vicious tone and they have one of the most powerful jaws in the world. There called Tasmanian Devils for a reason.

  • For someone who lives in the USA, you have read a bit about the Devil I see. Yes they have what we we would call vicious mating practices and can be quite vicious to each other...Not unlike humans really in barbaric times. However they are not vicious towards humans, overall they are quite sensitive.and very mischievous ..Since we share our lives with wild Tasmanian Devils....We kind of have the facts. They called Devils due to their scream not their nature. They have a sweet bark also :)

  • Also just to get your facts straight. The female Devil becomes submissive during the mating season and only to the strongest male. Males usually fight to prove this. Once she has chosen, the Male holds her in her den sometimes up to a week, both without food and water & mate. It is survival of the strongest, the female can give birth to over 20 embryos (size of rice) and only 4 will attach to the teets and survive. If one of those pups dies later then yes the mother will eat it. Obviously!

  • wow i wish i lived there, its amazing!

  • I love this video.

  • I think that they are beautiful animals.

  • lol at 331-438. So cute tryna take all that food at once

  • you cant carry them all in your mouth silly quoll

  • muy buen video y me gustaria q en todo el mundo se salvara a todos los animales en peligro de extincion y por supuesto salvar al planeta, de veras q si se puede.

    saludos

  • Superbly produced and greatly enjoyable feature, many thanks for posting this!

  • Great video! Greetings from Brasil ! :)

Faith hope for cure in the Devil Facial Tumour Disease

  • The devils are great!

Have you seen any Devil Facial Tumour Disease in the ones that visit you?

  • Hi

Yes we have only had one Devil with the disease. We named her Faith, it was heartbreaking to watch. We believe however that this Devil travelled a great distance due to food shortage and was not from our area. We have not had a case of the disease since Faith.

  • It's a shame about Faith. I'm glad the others are still well. Hopefully, being in the north west of Tasmania, your little fellas will be safe! Thank you for reply.

  • Thank you so much for this video. It made my day. I'm sure they have on of the most powerful jaws in the animal kingdom.

  • wow i never knew that they really exsisted i thaught it was a cartoon :P

  • Great video! Greetings from Sweden! :)

  • Wow, they're really cute, so I guess they don't create mini tornados when they approach!

  • so cute!!!

I love the spotted quoll trying to cram everything in his mouth at once.

Its like he was taking one step forward and two back!!

  • My Appologies to Billflowers as the tobacco pouch comment was intended for Enysvar and their comment in regards to skinning.

  • how about... WE SKIN EM ALL AND MAKE NICE COATS?... or bacon

  • Wonderful video thank you so much. I find these animals fascinating.

And to Billflowers -I'm sure you and your ignorant kind would make a good tobacco pouch.

  • It is good to see that a lot of the comments are positive, I've been trying to get people to love devils for years.

  • oh man ... stupids feeding wild animals ... great :-|

  • Hmmmm what would you prefer the stupids who cut down all the trees and then poison over 100,000 marsupials that feed on the new seedlings hence destroying the devils food source and letting them starve or the stupids who try and compensate and give then just enough food to keep these Devils alive instead of watching them starve to death due to the other stupids Hmmmmm?????? Go to the website if you are really interested in helping.

  • i love these. I want one. daddy can i have one? But I want one NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love these little critters! :-)

  • aww, they're cute, sort of like a weird puppy with a freaky bark

  • Because of their name, these guys probably got a bum rap! They're actually really cute. Many people probably have a misconception. The only marsupial we have in North America is the Opossum--now, yuck!

  • so cute:)

  • Awesome! 5*

  • Beautiful:)x

  • aww this is so wonderful and beautiful

the love between us and animals

  • Love is the answer.....but Trust without dissapointed ,maybe is the right way into the Heart of a Tasmanien Devil.....

  • I love Tassie's wildlife as much as anyone, but I'd never feed animals in the wild, lest they become dependent on or expectant of humans. As nice as it is to see these magnificent creatures in such circumstances, it is not in their best interests.

If these devils are so sensitive, why do they need to be fed through a security door? If they can come and go as they please, and come across a human elsewhere not protected by a security door and expect to be fed...

  • nice :)

  • That's beautiful.

    It's how life should be

  • awesome. Tasmanian devils are nothing like Taz on Looney Tunes. thanks for the download. learning is fundamental!!

  • lol.. taz on looney tunes spins like a hurricane and make retarded spastic noises like "WAAHH BLAUHA HUYA" and eat anything it sees.. the 'real' tasmanian devils are awesomee!!
