@savannahmiles264 its not original but the chops were expertly chosen to fit the riffs as drums are usually written after the melody . The vocals are original and the arrangement is pro. To hear anything original these days you need to step out of rock music and hit up experimental and noise music or IDM, besides that there is nothing new under the sun. But it is a sweet song.

Jack White is undoubtedly one of the most important musical figures since the late 90's and resurrected rock music from obscurity. Yet, the Dead Weather doesn't seem to measure up quite the same as The Raconteurs or the legendary Stripes. A little bit too gothic and creepy. Plus, he's no Jim Morrison or Freddie Mercury with voice but I'd easily have him sing over Alison Mosshart. Seriously hope Jack gets the Raconteurs recording more material soon.
