Ting's commmets are outrageous. Arar was travelling on a CANADIAN PASSPORT en route home TO CANADA from his vacation in Tunisia. Why didn't they deport him to Canada? Too logical i guess. He makes it sound as if the US had no other choice but to send him to Syria. Ridiculous.

I read the news every day and other than the Canadian site I originally found the story on, I haven't read or heard anything since. But I read, rather than watch the TV for news, so It could be my fault.

It just makes me furious that our Government officials can get away with all these atrocities. No punishment, not even an apology. And certainly no headlines.
