years ago I saw this video with the song that he posted it with and I got into the hobby again. I thought the Primitives song"Crash"fit very well, so when watch this video, I fire up another window with "Crash" and I sync by pausing the video at the first crash and letting it rip when the song hits the impact, it may seem like too much work but this video got me back into the hobby and now have pede, 4pede, ruckus, eb4g3 Phoenix xb, mini8, micro sct&rally. good video

@MrCALEXANDER18 Brushless all the way if you have a battery of above 3000 MaH, but if you don't, your runtime would be pathetic. Also it depends on which model it is. Do you know if it's an XL-1 or XL-5? If you don't an XL-1 uses the stinger motor, and the XL-5 uses the Titan.

IMHO the best motor is a Velineon brushless if you like to bash and jump. I have a video of one in a Rustler with stampede wheels. The battery is a 6 cell minh.

the motor has no brushes, thus brushless. It's more effeicient than brushed motors, and has more "capabilities".

I agree, "get up and go" electric is easy to maintain, fast and requires hardly any maintenance. Excellent choice for begginers. But when your into the hobby for many years, you enjoy puttering around with nitro engines and all that comes with it. Thats what makes R/Cing such a great "hobby"! 5 stars by the way, cool vid!

Nitro does have it's advantages, but some competition chargers can charge batteries in the time it takes to fill that fuel bottle, put the fuel in, get your starter box, and insert the glowplug the battery is allready done and all you have to do is take the body off and put in the battery strap and press the on button. They both have advantages but I like the smell of niro and I like the acceleration of nitro.

When you live in the suburbs, nothing beats electric. The neighbours simply hate loud noise and my friend's 1/5 duratrax truck makes a huge racket with the chainsaw engine. Also, I can just disconnect the battery and toss the car aside when im done without having to carry out post-bashing cleaning processes.

just buy the brand new stampede wich the brushless sytem from traxxas and run it with a 3 cell lipo. You will have insane speed and power.

The stampede has a upgraded 2.5trx motor and the electric one has a upgraded novak brushless system in it. both are fitted with all rpm parts that are made for each model. They work great .
