Anybody who has ever used wooden chucks can appreciate how much this must have hurt. It was funny as hell to watch, but I wont laugh too loudly. Besides, there was a good level of speed with nice kicks. A lot of people's vids on here demonstrate the chucks while standing still. At least this looked passionate with intergrated movement and as if there was an opponent. So don't beat yourself up about it.

I have to say your martial arts looks pretty fantastic. Really good, of course part of being a martial artist is being a master of the self, which is usually why a MA can unction because as a person he knows himself, so in this case clearly you're over zealous and it got to your head and so you slipped up, which is natural anyways on the path to self awareness. you haven't learned to use chucks if you haven't busted yourself up on several occasions. you need to follow through more if you are training for actual combat. if you don't beleive me try your technique out hitting that heavy bag with the chucks. Compare your stroke to Lee's in enter the dragon. Due to being so impractical as a self defense weapon i gave them up years ago.

I would recommend you start practising with padded foam chucks, or hollow plastic chucks, it won't hurt as much if you hit yourself with those. Personally I prefer to use steel, alumnium or round wooden chucks.
