Cool video. I was very interested in seeing these bots for myself and they are pretty cool. I am new to DoTA myself and still am playing with bots on the original version and those ones even seem pretty good to me. Can't wait to try DoTA 2, thanks for the video : )
Small advice for the courier usage: Use E to collect the items in stash and D to send them to your hero without you needing to drop them. Regardless of how many items there are in your inventory and courier you will get your items combined as long as you meet all the requirements. As for that, if you have enough gold you can rightclick on an item in the store to buy the complete item or the missing ones. It doesn't not work like in HoN - you need to be able to afford it (limited in writing more)
My biggest gripe with the bots in LoL is how much they felt like bots... How you can always predict exactly when they were going to recall because they had to according to protocol. These guys move just like any average player would and it's nice to not have them leaving the lane all the time. I wonder how they jungle, I haven't that first-hand either. Liked the part when Tide knew to stop chasing Sven @ 39:15 too.

DotA veteran here, I love the bots too. One thing is you seem to have the whole league of legends mentality that you should use spells on the lane to help you last hit. With sniper I wouldnt because you end up pushing the lane. Only use it for kills (obviously), intentionally pushing (later on in the game), or to harass the enemy hero while getting a few last hits as well. You look pretty good for considering yourself bad though haha.
Nice, definitely looking forward to the bots once i get my beta key ;) The bots in LoL suck absolute ass.. seriously, it's sad... and yet the dota2 bots get major updates and changes and overall love, by leaps and bounds, every single patch, and they already beat LoL's bots by 100x, and the game's only in freakin closed beta. GG valve :D
@dirrwen also.. uhh.. if ya want, i could teach you some stuff to help you get better xD, especially i notice you spam your spells a lot of the creeps early... dont do that :o generally, unlike lol you dont have the mana to spam early game. also, every game should have a courier, it's soo much better than lol's silly Recall.
@dirrwen I was using Shrapnel pretty sparingly. I was making sure I had enough to pop both it and Assassinate for a gank. So I really only used it when I had the mana to spare. I realize that spells do cost a ton of mana, so I've been practicing conserving for the ganks and such. Learned that the hard way when I first got into the beta and was using Lich's Frost Nova to farm and ran out of mana to the point where I couldn't even use Dark Ritual.
If the bots could last hit better and not bug out (be stuck for 10 min) they would be pretty good. I've played a game with these bots and a game with Warcraft 3 DotA bots. The WC3 ones were so much harder to beat. Dota 2 bots just seem very easy to kill.
