When I speak of "bettering" themselves I mean taking your situation and working hard to improve it. Providing for your family and taking care of your responsibilities etc.
I hate people that sit around all day and cry because they have nothing but do nothing about it. I can feel sorry for those people for only so long. When they cry about what they dont have it only lowers the amount of respect I can give them for their inability to remove themselves from a bad situation.

The Bush administration felt that they were above the law and they freely announced the profits made directly from the war.
