That's way too funny! I think I might have had an issue with a "used" panty hose too!! Especially the crotch or the foot!!!! See, there is humor in this line of work! But the truth be known, I have a panty hose over my mic too! And when I need to use the stockings, I take them off the mic and use a little silk purse that I have! LOL (We are some funny creatures!!)
I had the same experience once where this rap guy booked me to sing background hooks, and when I got there he had no idea what he wanted me to sing, and I had to make it up on the fly!
It was one of my most comical experiences because although he had a vocal booth, he had no mic stand and no pop screen - instead he had the mic hanging down from the ceiling using bent nails and he had a gym sock for a pop screen! I had to make him take it off cause I wasn't gonna sing into a dingy gym sock!
Man, I love this. I was cracking up as I read it because I've had quite a few sessions just like that.
One session was almost exactly the same except it was a (used) panty hose crotch. The singer wasn't having any part of that, so I had to make something else to use.

Man, I love this. I was cracking up as I read it because I've had quite a few sessions just like that.
