Man Bill Russell had no idea 50 years ago that this moment in would come in 2011. Receiving a medal of freedom from a black president. It's crazy when you think about it...when you think about all that Russell went through in his life. He started playing in the NBA when it was dominated by whites and racism. I read about the troubles and the tribulations he went through during his NBA years, and at some point he got fed up with everybody because they were racist. This is so great!!

i love Mr. Russell's message, it gives me hope. he speaks the way my father did. gotta ask though, anyone else notice the brand-new, not starched, shirt? he spoke how he truly felt, but was being coerced. why? why the show on all of these?

UNBELIEVABLE! I Fucking Nailed it! If we still have a representative republic in 2012, I'm doing everything in my power to show you the door President Empty-Suit. No amount of "Beer Summits' or "investments" will save you from the storm that's coming. Obama turned our good faith and tolerance against America. He will be reviled and his legacy of salted earth policies will be the bain of our grandchildren.
