Seriously? If you really were a geek, you'd know that the best fix would be to throw your non-upgradeable, super expensive, made-for-idiots mac out the window, assemble a proper computer and install either windows or a linux distro. You're clearly not a geek, so stop advertising it. You're making the rest of us look bad.
I used FF, too but I couldn't go to Youtube.......I can go to other websites except Youtube. WTF is wrong with FF. But now I'm using chrome and is better than FF 3 times.
I just got a crash like this guy does. Its favorite thing to do on my computer is to display a white screen with pictures of what it was supposed to open saying "Well this is embarrassing". It does that shit every other time I open it. I'm starting to have an appreciation for IE now.
It seems that now Google are amongst the ruling elite and are members of the bildeberg group, suddenly firefox crashes all the time and chrome comes out. No doubt it will contain heaps of spyware and will become the dominant browser, the official New World Order browser if you will, it's well known they want to create a Net 2, a controlled restricted internet. Also, all these cross compatibilty issues of recent times with codecs/plugins etc are suspicious
My Firefox was upgrade to the latest version 2 days ago, and I have been having nothing but problems. Today, I switched to Opera. It's awesome! If you like addons/extensions for Firefox, you will love the widgets for Opera. I got everything I need and some. Opera now runs faster and use less memory than Firefox. I also imported all my FF bookmarks, and sync'd up with Opera, kind like Foxmarks. I probably wouldn't go back to FF if they do fix all the crashings and dead popup links.
every day in the last 3 weeks FF crashes on YT coincidentally since the spam adverts for downloading google-chrome arrived... i don't want that beast, and i don't like the intrusive data collecting YT gathers now on my viewing habits, windows vista even reports erroneous data execution problems when this crash occurs... very weird indeed.
Get the Firefox add on called "Adblock". When you install it paste "s .ytimg. com/yt/swf/PMS*.swf" into the filter. This stopped all crashes I was having on Youtube (which was about every 2nd video I tried to watch).
ok, so i had the same problem, but i googled firefox crashes and it says that firefox isnt supposed to crash unless u have spyware, viruses, etc. i had spyware so i cleaned my computer and it doesnt crash anymore...maybe you have it to
Over the past few days I've been having trouble with FireFox (been using it for months without a hitch), it keeps crashing for no apparent reason, I have not added any new programs to my PC and I have not visited any new sites, I have scanned my PC for virus's and malware neither of which have been found, it only happens when I'm on Youtube which is odd given it never used to do that.
Youtube now promote Google Chrome all over the site and Firefox is Chrome's #1 competition, I smell dirty work!
lol, same EXACT thing has been happening to me! :P
Firefox crashes all over the place on youtube, but no other site. hrrmmm, strange ain't it? It also seems to have started right around the time google chrome was first splattered all over the youtube homepage.
Yeah I think Youtube is doing something to make FF crash to make people switch over to Chrome which is owned by Google who just happen to also own YT.
I know exactly how to fix all of Firefox 3 Crashes! You are all in luck, I know how to fix it! It deals with a certain folder that makes it does that! A bug! Just look at my newly uploaded tutorial on it! Thanks!
My OS X Firefox craps out when viewing YouTube. It only does it when I've hopped several layers of YouTube videos, rather than back paging. This makes me wonder if there's a stack overload issue of some kind. Safari also has the problem, although it crashes by freezing up. Firefox crashes by displaying a blank area where the video should be, or the page loses GUI and goes all text. Opera and Camino are banned for accessing some web pages so I don't use them.
I'm not being a mac hater, but having used both mac OS X and XP I used to get crashes a lot with different browsers on mac, but they run fine 99% of the time on XP. Is the problem with the browser or OS X, I'm not trying to cause an argument here with mac users just a discussion, OS X certainly is very nice graphically, much better than XP.
I use Firefox on Mac OS X. It's crap. It forever hanging. It crashes when I exit it. The windows also stick in their position i.e. you drag a window somewhere else on the screen and it springs back. Additionally, when you press a button on Firefox it often ignores it and jumps to the top of the page. Rubbish.
dont download the firefox 7.0 it fucking crashes every minute

There can be two issues:
1. Virus (Use AVG free)
2.. Corrupt registry ( Use reginout)
I am sure it will help you.
