Try the Peribahasa Melayu... Malay Idioms... it is meaningful and beautifu l(regarding the way Peribahasa Melayu develops from word to meaning) and thus the words in them can be literally memorize easily!
to all, i am so sorry for not uploading more.... i have no idea on what i should do more.. please give me some opinion.. asap.... cause after this, i'm going to a boarding school, so i might not be able to upload some more...
And as for "seratus", "seribu" and "sejuta", they are unofficial terms in Malaysia, and your bank will reject your check/cheque if you write "seratus" (a hundred), you must write "satu ratus" (one hundred), unlike in Indonesia where may be it's OK with them to write whatever that fancies them... this is Malay here in Malaysia, not Indonesian...
Semilyar? Heck! I'm a Malay Malaysian and I don't even know what the hell 'semilyar' is until i checked it out!
So let's not mix up our Bahasa Melayu/Malay here with Indonesian, OK! We don't say "semilyar" for "1 billion" in Malaysian Malay, we say "satu bilion".
yeap they do. well way before the malay language used alphabets, it used jawi(modified arab writing system) for the written work of the language. it has been used till arnd mid 15 century. whn the portugese attacked malcca, alphabets were introudced and its being used till today.
@oosnemrac yeah, tagalog, malay (including borneo island native lang.) n javanese share numbers of same (or almost same words). since we're on the same region of polynesia.
@fenixfire23 its the same with english alphabet :)
