  • Remember back in the day when they didn't have to list everyone who had anything to do with the show in the opening credits? Oh, Phil Davis? What a fantastic co-executive producer he was...

  • This scared the crap out of me as a kid!

  • The Cemetery segment has lots in common with original TZ episode "Uncle Simon". In both cases relative kills his/her uncle for his fortune, but the dead get their revenge from grave. Main difference is that in original it was uncle who was mean while in this one its nephew who is mean. In almost everything else these two episodes are very similar. Of course, way the deceased get back at their relatives is very different

  • McDowell's character is the personification of evil.

  • Mc Dowell's character is the personification of evil.

  • McDowell's character is the personification of evil.

  • this episode gave me creeps when it showed on tv--I had nightmares of those ghastly paintings and the music was completely successful in ratching up the terror. Roddy and Ossie were wonderful--great actors--you can see their expression in their eyes. Roddy, by the way was quite a photographer in h'wood...and his beach parties on Sunday were well attended--just beer, wine, hot dogs and buns--that's it! That's why people loved em.

  • Wow...this really left an impression on me as a kid...love it!! They really knew how to scare people back then -- without the gore and graphic violence that is dished up today. Thanks for uploading!

  • I love the classic TV shows like Night Gallery.

They just do not make them like this anymore.

  • This is the best Night Gallery episode, the vast majority of the other episodes are really idiotic and end abruptly without a logical and fulfilling denouement.

  • @GanjaZombi2 I'd have to say you are right---it was beautifully shaped and completely terrerfying with NO gore! Tell that to todays' movie makers!!

  • WOW, terrific picture quality. I have seen versions of this in the past on YouTube, and the quality was simply awful. GREAT JOB and thanks for uploading this series!

  • I love this episode. Roddy McDowell is good.

  • Old school horor anthology series, today's youngins really missed out on a great time for horror. Anyone remember The Evil Touch, hosted by Anthony Quayle?

And Hammer's House of Horror in the 80's

  • OH MY GOD! I remember Roddy McDowell saying "PORTEFOY"!!!

  • OMG I LOVED this episode! And Hi Ossie Davis! Loved you in Bubba Ho-Tep!

  • Awesome... but yeah that banner really sux ass!

  • This short episode of Night Gallery has more scares and originality than all full length movies going on today. Remake, sequels, man horror is pathetic now.

  • @bypetersen you are so right---

  • I never could remember the name of the show i was to young, but i wll never forget seeing that moving cemetery picture.

  • Excellent find, I remember this scared the crap out of me as a child, I had to sleep with the lights on for days. It still holds up... some of the other episodes are totally campy. Thanks for posting this!

  • Roddy McDowall is perfect in this segment-brilliant

  • Roddy is phenomenal in this episode.

  • **** DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME -- This one has this stupid message covering the screen throughout the whole show!

    NightGalleryTVShow = RETARD

  • @cciemail

my sentiments exactly , thank you brother.

  • Thanks for posting this: the audio matched up exactly! good job! The theme music always makes the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up! Saw this when it premiered way back in the late, LATE sixties and it will always scare me until the day I die! Thank you, Mr, Serling!

  • @iamthesun62 the airdate was November 8.1969

  • Thanks for the post. Could you upload Deliveries In The Rear & Death In The Family? Once again, thanks for the post.

  • First comment. I like the night gallery and this is my favorite episode.
