If you counter-weight each arm starting with the forearm, your servos will not have to work as hard and you can lift more.

You need to increase the power supply because the servos are shaking....happened to me with my robot arm. When the servo tries to adjust a heavy load, it consumes more energy, thus raises the amp. and that draws the power from the controller. You should try a larger transformer, if you were using a microcontroller.

Sir I am a final year Electronics student pursuing my degree of B.E. I have planned to make a robotic arm for my final year project. I saw your work and was truly amazed.I know you must be very busy with your work.But it would be a favour if you can guide me as in how to go on sequentially to implement this project.I have searched a lot about the project but too many ideas and too many links are doing nothing more than confusing me rather. One thing I'ld luv 2 have is a ROTATING gripper.

i got stl file and i want to make part of my own without any cuttor or 3d printer so how can i get measurement of parts, which software will give me dimentions of the parts ?

You can download the .dxf files at "thingiverse" -> 2433

You can open the .dxf files in almost any cad program like autocad, then mesure them.
