I follow you because i think what you do is admirable and helpfull for a lot of people i think you have a lot of fun around the world and a lot of influences with a lot of companies that know that because of you and your tutorial they make a lot of sells too so can you try to motivate this companies to open competition for people like me that don't have the economic resources to buy a Pioneer but have a lot of pasion for Djing Thanks!!!! Hi, again Mr. ellaskins, I Was thinking about las year Pioneer bpm competition and the fact that not everybody have a CDj 900 or 2000 or any pionneer at all and Visualizing this from the company point of view if I make a video mixing with mi American Audio Vms4 for example i will never win a competition like that because it will be a Contradiction For the company tht is trying to sell his brand... : ( my point is can you do a video of this maybe others companies open competitions too cont..

@Djuanlarocca It was Pioneers competition. Pioneer set the rules. If a company decides to run a competition, then they can choose whatever rules they want.

Hi I entered the December 2011 tenminmix competition but it wound up being blocked in all but 10 countries due to copyright infringement, were you still able to watch and judge it? Do many entrants have this problem??

It's not a big mixage this time, felt a terrible pain in my left hand so I had to mix right-handed which made me do less action. Anyway, I even didn't have headphones at that time so I couldn't go to the limit ;o)

At the end of the competition month. The top 20 rated videos are sent to Johnathan. He watches them all, this is a 3-4 hour task. He does it over several days, re-watching videos & narrowing it down to the top 5. Until the final 1st,2nd & 3rd place are chosen. Then it has to go on the site before I can contact the winners asking for their details. Then the winners have to respond. Some don't bother to, so I give them 2 weeks to reply. Then I contact the prize sponsors and give them the details.

I got so excited I didnt fully read the rules and just post a trailer a friend made for a new demo I've just finished.

So, the thing is, it's my mix made only with 2 technics MK3, with a old vestax PMC pro (and vinyls of course) and I am on the trailer but the trailer vid (I mean the pics) and the mix havent been recorded at the same time.

Maybe you re not allowed to do that?
