I would like to know where this young woman that doesn't believe in boarders, which country do you pay taxes in. You do pay taxes do you not. That is very important you see. If you are a student you might understand where you study and when you have to go to the hospital who pays your bill. No Iceland is not yours, the work for a better environment is a global issue. But you do not act within the Icelandic boundaries. You might have to catch up on your studies there young lady.

I'm from Belgium and I travelled in Iceland 3 times. I think it's the most beautiful country in the world but it's too late to act. The people in Iceland voted in 2007 for the party Sjálfstæðisflokkurinn (right party favourable to the usa ) . They are now responsible. I vote always for the right parties but in Belgium, the right parties are respectful with their country. They don't accept harmful contracts and they don't let corporation destroy the environment...
The people in the country need jobs, The Kárahnjúka dam actually makes the area around it more beautiful. Before the plans to make a dam there were laid out about 2 people per year traveled to that area ... Now hundreds / thousands of jobs will be created for the people living in that part of the country. Saving Iceland are brainless idiotic protesters who protest just for protesting.
