I admire this guy for his artistry, but more more than that, for being willing to travel to the end of the earth to perform. Getting to Sydney is hard enough, but then he had to travel the equivalent of the west coast of the USA to the east coast to get to Fremantle, which is probably the most isolated large city in the world. Kudos.

it's surprisingly fresh - completely original take on all of the caprices. plus, it has virtuosity and and heart until the very last note (he plays all of them in a row in 1 performance).

Yes, I completly agree with you. A. Stadler (one of the Genius Russian Violinist) can play all 24 Capricce of Paganin, In the his concerto He was played any capricce witch people want and from originale edition.

THE BEST PERFORMANCE OF THIS PIECE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it well and have performed it many times. He captures the essence and WOW what a technique. This is truly the best recording of this piece. I have heard everyone, believe me.

All that can be said, is Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think that most people realise how special and great this violinist truly is. In the USA throwing a football is special. True talent and genius is nothing! What a shame.
