I'm also fed up with the Obama myth, but i actually watch Moyers every Friday. PBS gets money from us, the public. And yet, Moyers was kicked out when Bush got in power,and recently got back. The best documentary on the war in Iraq was made by Moyers. Maybe we disagree about Obama or Hillary, but Moyer is one of the last bastions of political sanity.

I have to disagree - at least partially - with Bill that it's not so much about race as much as it is about class. The hateful white preachers Moyers mentions are not getting a pass because they are white but because they ultimately support the status quo. The elite want to make sure Obama does not share Rev. Wright's 'left' stance on issues. It is Wright's criticism of US policy (however absurd *some* of his accusations are) that are the cause for the elite going after Obama.

Xenu, that may be true about elite sophisticates who can see the big picture, but for the Coors-drinking crowd, it comes down to the media portraying Rev. Wright as a racist and them buying into that out of fear and pessimism. They think Obama is too good to be true. Even though he's mixed, they insist that he must be a racist because those clips of his pastor out of context were presented as racist in the forever pro-Clinton media.
