its called the exhaust housing on the turo u can determin the size plus ball bearing turbos. and on a v8 yeh probly hit full bost at around 2500 witha stal convertor ull never have boost lag just off the line.. but super chargers ur right no lag instint responce in boost. but it takes horse power to gain horse power .. especially the set up on these truck its just not worth the pay ..

The kit is $6,000 roughly. It includes a piggyback tuning solution that really needs to be ditched for proper ECU tuning and larger injectors. The hard parts of the kit are excellent, just the tuning needs to be addressed.

@SCedTITAN sorry man i think u wasted ur money i mean it sounds awsome with the charger but. ill race u in my truck with my mods and i most likly will beet u. the better way for horse power on these trucks is turbo. 8 psi on pump gas and 10 on race gas ull get around 500 at the wheel, with lil to no boost lag. or nitrous 400 dolars for 125 extra horses.. i chose nos..works fine for me. spinning threw first ran a 12.7 at 108 with street tires..

uhmm SC/D tundras make 504 HP and 555 ft lb. torque...and in stock trim it pulls 380+ hp.

Yes, Toyota has high markups on the Tundra's hp. It's got a reallllly high amount of parasitic loss as well.

@SCedTITAN Stock, the Tundr ahs better RWHP then most trucks. 320hp. But the TRD S/C kit makes the 5.7 have 506hp and 550 ft lbs torque.

Yes, you are right about that. But more importantly is the tundras are WAY overpriced then you still have another $7000 for the charger. I paid $14,000 for the truck WITH the charger on it. Do you have a SCed Tundra? If not, then I dont quite understand your point.

No, the e-locker was an option, otherwise it has an open differential. A good solution to this is a TrueTrac rear end. I'm getting mine installed after tax season and doing the WOT Burn Out mod.

i dont get why people want fast trucks, if you wanna go fast buy a sports car, i have a 2007 Titan and i use it as a truck, to haul stuff. i do like it to look nice but trucks are not sports cars and they eat the hell out of gas. make your truck look nice and respect it for what it is. don't dog them like it's a mustang or something. my titan will get up to highway speeds just like any other car.. no need to do 80mph 5 seconds. no road in america requires that.

SLOW!!!! Really the 0-60 didnt change much from a stock Titan. The 2wd comes with WOT restriction from 0-40 mph. This limits the truck to 35% throttle only until 40. The tuning supplied with the Stillen S/C doesnt remove WOT restriction or the speed limiter.

I really need to, but its CHEAPER said than done. I would need a new 255 lph fuel pump, 440-660 injectors and dyno tuning. That converstion will be $1200+, and would still leave me with a POS stock transmission. LOL, its a lose lose situation with the Titan.

Yes, I could use the bullydog to remove WOT restriction, but unfortunatly that all i could use it for. I would have to run the "stock" bullydog tune as right now the stillen control box "piggy back" needs to read stock values from the ECU.

There is nothing to talk up. With the WOT restriction, the truck is useless. Nissan engineers found it cheaper to program the ECU than to give the 2wd trucks anything better than an open differential.

I would have to say that within the next few months, I'll be throwing a FOR SALE sign on it.
