Hey, does it matter when I drink the green tea? I dont drink tea of coffee. Im 20 and i've never had a single cup of either in my life, But is there a best time to drink it? Also, you mentioned white rice.. Well I've tried eating brown rice and its just disgusting. What can I eat instead? Or do I just have to put up with the blandness of brown rice? cheers.

@runek12 Whole grain is actually worse for you if you trying to lose wieght. It's somthing about your body not being able to adapt or somthing. My brothers a seal and they told him not to eat whole grain because our bodies can't digest the whole grains completly. Although it's healthy, it makes you fatterxD

@OmarIsuf Actually I think you just have an endomorphic body type. Very few people out there are genuinely carb sensitive to the point that carbs should be so restricted that they're hardly in your diet. Carb limitations for brief periods followed by carb refeeds every few days should work just fine for most people. Carbs themselves aren't the problem...it's the fact that high carb often=junk food. Whole grains should be fine with lean protein and healthy fats. Straight from Tom Venuto himself.
Splenda is a good subsitute for sugar, but it is bad for you. It dries out your skin. People should eat less and less as they go further into their diet
@00JakeR00 not true. This is evident in all hunter gatherer cultures, or Paleolithic peoples. They did not consume much (if any at all which is more likely) pasta, oats, or many grains. @00JakeR00 true. With that being said, our bodies are not neccessarily made for processed foods. The discussion at hand is based upon having enough energy without pasta, rice, oats, or bread. If you build a diet devoid of these things for your activity level you can still feel great and train at a high, possibly higher level. Take energy and nutrient rich foods and place them around and through your workouts. (i.e. fruits, green veggies, honey...) along with lean meats.
@Utillitarian You will have sufficient energy for your training regardless of intensity. It takes trial and error to get the amounts right but it is worth the continuous great feeling you have. Don't take my word for it. Give it a go for a week or two and see how your body does on it. If you feel like you are bonking then you simply did not get in enough fruits and or greens before training. ;)
@Utillitarian I've tried low carb diets before, I struggle alot. Also things like pasta and rice are very cheap compared to meat and the ammount of vegetables you would have to buy to replace the pasta and rice.
I get my protein and nutrients in then use brown pasta to bring up my calories so I dont loose weight.
@00JakeR00 Are you doing bodybuilding or sports specific training? It depends on where you get your meat and what type it is and what vegetables you eat. I got 5 seperate steaks, ground beef, and ground turkey all for 17 dollars at krogers. The key is getting the manager specials which are close to sell date, you can then freeze it or cook it when you get home. A head of lettuce is 58 cents at walmart. sweet potatoes can be 1.17 a pound, i also got 3 small apples for 1 dollar.
@00JakeR00 being in college it really helps save quite most of my money compared to eating out. It takes a bit more time, but when you know where everything you want is you can move at normal shopping pace. Also as volumous as lettuce and broccoli are in the stomache it is difficult to eat a ton of it at once anyway. Throw in your choice of fruit, meat, and a handfull of almonds (3.98 with krogers card) you will be sufficiently swollen haha
@00JakeR00 Then again it all must be tailored to your training. Meal spacing, carb cycling/placement, sugar (from fruits and honey) intake, body weight, desired weight, goals...These and a few more all play into your meal plan. I'm training for the upcoming football seasons, and also I do parkour/freerunning because i enjoy it. So far my performance is greater than it previously was. Endurance and strength. My "diet" works for me because I tailored it over various weeks and continue to evolve it
@SMarieLove Krill Oil actually is very hard to come by (the proper variety), I'd estimate 98% thats on the market is not pure and rancid. Fish oil, when derived from a clean source is by far your best option.

Where do you buy your large bottle of fish oil pills? It varies in price and I'm not real familiar with what brand to buy and what's the name of the cinnamon that you use? Ceylon? or Saigon cinnamon? I have Saigon freshly ground but I know Ceylon is the most expensive not sure if that's the one you are talking about. I got the apple vinegar...thanks for all your help.
@winter654123 Fish oil I order from Ebay, look up a user TommyHealth,, good prices, anything that is pure and ethically harvested is what I'm for. As per Cinnamon thats a Costco brand, but again- any Cinnamon is good. Price and quality aren't neccessarily related. Hope this helps!
@winter654123 Apple Cider Vinegar: Braggs is the brand I use and its raw, unfiltered and organic (its not pasteurized). It will make only a slight difference which one you use. As well for loose leaf tea, specialty stores sell them, or you can buy it online (which is always better). However, the Costco's brand Japanese Tea is a great deal and has a lot of the same properties :).

@MetalsPlague Raw unfiltered honey (the shit that costs $12 a bottle, has a lot of phytonutrients in it, but its still sugar. Stick to one tablespoon around your work out (mix in your shake) and you are good to go ;)
@JromeX I don't like either to be honest, if anything, for rice, wild rice is the best choice and even then only around your work outs and in the morning, in small portions!
@jamarf0rtune No video but heres the answer: substitute running for either the elliptical, the arc trainer, the bike, or the rower and use the same principles I give in the video. Good luck!

@OmarIsuf Actually I think you just have an endomorphic body type. Very few people out there are genuinely carb sensitive to the point that carbs should be so restricted that they're hardly in your diet. Carb limitations for brief periods followed by carb refeeds every few days should work just fine for most people. Carbs themselves aren't the problem...it's the fact that high carb often=junk food. Whole grains should be fine with lean protein and healthy fats. Straight from Tom Venuto himself.

@00JakeR00 not true. This is evident in all hunter gatherer cultures, or Paleolithic peoples. They did not consume much (if any at all which is more likely) pasta, oats, or many grains. Yet they were athletic enough to capture their food and defend themselves soley on veggies, fruits, nuts, and lean meats. Train well ;)

@Utillitarian They spent most of the day lounging around or walking with only maybe 10 minutes strenuous activity to hunt or escape danger. A modern athlete will train at a very high intensity for 6 hours a day.

@00JakeR00 true. With that being said, our bodies are not neccessarily made for processed foods. The discussion at hand is based upon having enough energy without pasta, rice, oats, or bread. If you build a diet devoid of these things for your activity level you can still feel great and train at a high, possibly higher level. Take energy and nutrient rich foods and place them around and through your workouts. (i.e. fruits, green veggies, honey...) along with lean meats.

@Utillitarian You will have sufficient energy for your training regardless of intensity. It takes trial and error to get the amounts right but it is worth the continuous great feeling you have. Don't take my word for it. Give it a go for a week or two and see how your body does on it. If you feel like you are bonking then you simply did not get in enough fruits and or greens before training. ;)

@Utillitarian I've tried low carb diets before, I struggle alot. Also things like pasta and rice are very cheap compared to meat and the ammount of vegetables you would have to buy to replace the pasta and rice.
I get my protein and nutrients in then use brown pasta to bring up my calories so I dont loose weight.

@00JakeR00 Are you doing bodybuilding or sports specific training? It depends on where you get your meat and what type it is and what vegetables you eat. I got 5 seperate steaks, ground beef, and ground turkey all for 17 dollars at krogers. The key is getting the manager specials which are close to sell date, you can then freeze it or cook it when you get home. A head of lettuce is 58 cents at walmart. sweet potatoes can be 1.17 a pound, i also got 3 small apples for 1 dollar.

@00JakeR00 being in college it really helps save quite most of my money compared to eating out. It takes a bit more time, but when you know where everything you want is you can move at normal shopping pace. Also as volumous as lettuce and broccoli are in the stomache it is difficult to eat a ton of it at once anyway. Throw in your choice of fruit, meat, and a handfull of almonds (3.98 with krogers card) you will be sufficiently swollen haha

@00JakeR00 Then again it all must be tailored to your training. Meal spacing, carb cycling/placement, sugar (from fruits and honey) intake, body weight, desired weight, goals...These and a few more all play into your meal plan. I'm training for the upcoming football seasons, and also I do parkour/freerunning because i enjoy it. So far my performance is greater than it previously was. Endurance and strength. My "diet" works for me because I tailored it over various weeks and continue to evolve it

@SMarieLove Krill Oil actually is very hard to come by (the proper variety), I'd estimate 98% thats on the market is not pure and rancid. Fish oil, when derived from a clean source is by far your best option.

Where do you buy your large bottle of fish oil pills? It varies in price and I'm not real familiar with what brand to buy and what's the name of the cinnamon that you use? Ceylon? or Saigon cinnamon? I have Saigon freshly ground but I know Ceylon is the most expensive not sure if that's the one you are talking about. I got the apple vinegar...thanks for all your help.

@winter654123 Fish oil I order from Ebay, look up a user TommyHealth,, good prices, anything that is pure and ethically harvested is what I'm for. As per Cinnamon thats a Costco brand, but again- any Cinnamon is good. Price and quality aren't neccessarily related. Hope this helps!

@winter654123 Apple Cider Vinegar: Braggs is the brand I use and its raw, unfiltered and organic (its not pasteurized). It will make only a slight difference which one you use. As well for loose leaf tea, specialty stores sell them, or you can buy it online (which is always better). However, the Costco's brand Japanese Tea is a great deal and has a lot of the same properties :).

@MetalsPlague Raw unfiltered honey (the shit that costs $12 a bottle, has a lot of phytonutrients in it, but its still sugar. Stick to one tablespoon around your work out (mix in your shake) and you are good to go ;)
