  • It's shit when there's an oil down, but it's the best when you are the first one out!!

  • On a T&T night the track crew doesen't do a very good job at fixing the track. There are maybe 29 slick tire cars with 200 street / ricers. I really can't count on getting a perfect setup. For the most part it's slip slide away. I've had the car almost take off into the other lane at 1000 feet a few times. It's not the car it's the track.

  • Thanks for checking out the vid Paul.. I need to make some adjustments. I just didn't get any track time because of the failed MSD box. A new box is on the way and I get 'er sorted out next time.

  • Ya.. it been a good unit. It's a NASCAR box I got used from e-bay. I can't complain for the price. I've used it for two years now. I needed something better. Just another part to offer the God's of Speed.. Hehee

  • Looks like you cut a real good light. Ignition shutoffs are due to vibration. The car broke loose the entire track. ET car?

  • Umm what happened was that when the car got hot the timing would go past all of the timing marks on the balancer. Let it cool and the timing was back to 15 degrees. Odd as hell.

  • MSD is computer chip oriented like your home PC yes? Maybe a cool can is required to keep the temperature down then just a thought to kelp ya.

  • TY John, we are gonna give it "Hell" one more time.. Another T&T in two weeks.

    Got a brand new MSD AL6-2A comming. The new box doesen't need rev limit chips and can be hooked to a trans brake.

    I was using a old MDS 6TN (NASCAR) box I got off Evil-Bay about 2 years ago. I'll send out the NASCAR box for repair and now have a spare.

  • Thanks Jeff & Heather.. Keep the cheers going I need all I can get. Kind of disapointing to fix one thing then have a different problem. The car has been flawless up untill the converter went out. Now it would be nice if it was a little thing but "Oh no" I get to hear "Cha-Ching" and a sour feeling in my stomach.

  • It's funny how you were worried about rookies getting oil on the track. It almost looked like you weren't getting traction on the right side, I wonder if that was a slick track or the suspension.

  • Hey Eric.. a little bit of both but mostly the oil. Nothing worse then trying out something for the first time and get handed a messy track. I did some shock adjustment the second run but the ign let me down. The shock adjustmet was working just didn't get another chance to work on it.
