I mean on this guy's same fucking label you have Aloe Blacc who does the same thing, but better imo. You have Cee Lo, Janelle Monae, Amy Winehouse. There are many, many artists out right now that do what this guy does and better , but because he's a nerdy looking white guy singing soul music it's "amazing"
