u ask any hindu, how many gods do u have? Nobody can answer. Beauty of Hindu is he sees god in everything, even in the person infront of him, and hence his respect for other people nd religions. India is only true secular country whre u hear mosques calling for prayer in loud speakers and chimes of church without any complaint from 80% hindus in India. Indian civilization is oldest nd powerful in histry, but Indians never crossed its borders and occupied other countries nd again its hindu cultur

The so-called "pagan" civilizations have achieved more than Islamic or pre-science Christian civilizations. Greeks made enormous contribution to Math. Pagan Romans made huge contribution in politics & warfare. Egyptians built their pyramids. Indians have their unparalleled philosophy, very much consistent with modern science & relevant even today. Christianity plunged Europe into dark age. What has Islamic civilization got ? NOTHING. Only bloody invasions & wiping out the native religions.

So far I've seen the first 4 episodes and it has been an incredible watch. I've always wanted to go to India. After watching the first 2 episodes the first night, I went on-line and started pricing airfare for my trip to India, 2009. I can't wait!!

One more thing... the temples shown in the clipis from south india... they are very religious... and even more peace loving ang soft spoken...
You have to look beyond the skins of south indian, they are diamonds Inside.
