Awesome. I am learning this song now. I have gotten to the point of 2:15 in your video (I have the gp5 tabs) but find 50% of the song is trying to nail the bit from 2:15-2:25. You have done this quite well. Excellent job. This is a shortcut on my desktop and I watch it everytime I learn more of the song.
Salut vieux, as tu une tab pour le magnifique solo de lee ritenour. J'ai essayé de le retranscrire plusieurs fois mais c'est trop chaud pour moi. Merci par avance
Very, very good effort. One of my favourite songs, and really diffcult to play the way Larry did. I can never nail the phrase around 2.20 but congratulations man you did a brilliant job.
sorry, i forgot to put "just a little stiff". jus on the lee ritenour part i guess, thats possibly because of ur amp and tone. haha jus forget i mentioned anything, ur fantastic. i mean it
amazing cover of a really really great song, I like this song and Larry Carlton's playing very much, and your playing is great too! Nice sound and feeling!
I couldn't believe my ears - and eyes. You even mimic their face expressions... My sincere compliments - you are, or are on your way to become, a professional musician I assume?
well this is not easy to answer, but i would say that Larry has a great sense of dynamics in his playing. Lee's playing has more of a jazzy vibe and Luke is more of a rock player..i think that's what you can hear here, at least i hope ;)
Très bon comme d'hab'. Le son de la Fender est fantastique, bien dans l'esprit. Le jeu l'est aussi, bon phrasé, belles notes, pas trop, juste ce qu'il faut.
Awesome! I've been a fan of Rit and LC creeping up on 30 years. I also enjoyed your Gold. Var. My wife is a classically trained pianist and turned me on to Glenn Gould. Do you have a band?
Great playing, great impersonations, you nailed it

I have question. Since you play all three styles in one song, could please comment on their different approaches to soloing?
BadSneakers 3 years ago
well this is not easy to answer, but i would say that Larry has a great sense of dynamics in his playing. Lee's playing has more of a jazzy vibe and Luke is more of a rock player..i think that's what you can hear here, at least i hope ;)
