I don't judge a person based on some of this stuff. For instance, I don't really care about his personal life, or if he acknowledged Clinton's ugly as hell offspring. I didn't dislike Clinton because of his affairs or jokes taken out of context. Nonetheless however, he isn't the same McCain I wanted to vote for when he ran against Bush.

Great video and would make a great national commercial, except that the screens with print on them go by way too fast for anyone to read them or for the content to really sink in. Give people a chance to read and absorb the information, and it would have much bigger and more lasting impact.

Otherwise, it just comes off as a tirade.

Great video! --Another fine moment in McCain's public life occurred at the recent Sturgis motorcycle rally when he offered up to the biker participants the image of his wife, and ostensible first lady, participating in the bikini (and sometimes NO-bikini) contest. "I encouraged Cindy to compete, McCain said to cheers from the crowd. With a little luck, she could be the only woman ever to serve as both the first lady and Miss Buffalo Chip. What a sleaze. But about this video... guys, you CAN'T put up all that text on the screen and not leave it up long enough to READ, when you do that it's just a DISTRACTION. EDIT the content and only put up a couple of things that we can READ, or lose it all together, it does NOT help you to have all that text popping up if nobody can read it. (I'm a TV pro, just a suggestion, otherwise its a great ad)

It's a great ad because it's a great message. If you were to make any changes, I would suggest making it two ads (there is ceertainly enough material) and tighten it up a bit on the text - highlight key words rather than expect the viewer to read the whole thing.

On the other hand, I love the fact that it is by a regular citizen and not a polished campaign approved piece.

I also think the "If I had a 527, this is what I would say..." is a great theme...

That is a great ad, but I am afraid that it would fire up the repub base more than it would actually convince a single independant to switch sides. You would lose 10 votes to every one you would gain. Obama 08 could never run it, it comes across a tad bitter.
