Oh it was terrible, but there is a happy ending. I heard the unmistakable 'thud' and ran to the sliding glass door where she was on her back. Hummingbirds are very protective of their food source and quite aggressive to other birds... and I had just cleaned glass. I didn't think she'd make it.

Within 10 to 15 minutes, she was chirping and propped up on my finger as I sat outside with her on the deck. She then hovered as they do and looked at me... then shifted to another angle and looked again before flying off.

She has been back at the feeder regularly the past few nights, as she has a unique right white tail feather that makes her distinctive.

So, I tried to find people in UPC last night, but my stickam accounts are messed up. I have 2 in the same name??? Be well Liz!

Great work, the video and lyrics/music are very harmonic here, I liked seeing you at the beach (my favorite place), with the hummer in your hand and shooting the gun (I was raised on a farm in the country and my dad taught us about guns as youngsters).

Yeah - I was trying to interpret the music, and I had spent the day at the beach, talking so quietly you can't hear me, as this family party of 20 kids and the grandmother invaded my space.

It was insane, as she screamed and threatened to beat them... All the while, an empty beach but a few of us, and they picked me!
