One visited my fire escape too. I think yours is a Hawk. Mine might be a Falcon. Wild right??

@Bapishful The consensus on facebook was that it is a Cooper's Hawk. Yours is a bigger bird though, I don't know the differences really! It's amazing it didn't fly away when you opened the window, mine left when I got close to the window.
