@kingwillie206 actually he has been given lots of funding and has moved from England to Silicon Valley in California. Lots of people working on his ideas. I don't want to live forever, but what years I do have, I want them to be healthy ones.
@thecsslife well, there is some controversy as to whether some alcohol is beneficial to humans. He drinks a few pints of beer a day. It's not like he's a full-blown alcoholic who drinks lots of vodka or whiskey, then passes out regularly.
thats doctor DeGrey. his idea of living in the time of the first 1000 yr old being is far fetched, i think he probably realises now that science takes a long time in itself,especially wen there are only so many people involved....
@falitosis you got that right. I don't really support all of his ideas. I do like the helping to live as long as you want and be healthy idea. Kind of like taking care of your car and getting the required maintenance. But cars only go so long too before it's illogical to keep investing in them. I posted the video because the other copy of it on youtube has an audio track that is out of sync and I fixed it. Mr. DeGrey is a little off too, imo.
If I were to have a healthy body and a lifestyle full of exercise, good food, sex and learning I would happily live for the foreseeable future.
