I know i should'nt really say this and that I will get moaned at by someone for it but surely derek's sister making him leave the house led to him meeting craig which led to the shooting.
What I find really sad is that his sister fought for 40+ years to have his name cleared. She died in 1996 but the conviction wasn't overturned until 1998. In 1992 then Tory Home Secretary Kenneth Clarke could have recommended a pardon based on evidence presented to him, he didn't even bother to look at the evidence then lied to the media about it.
i object to death penalty for many reasons. among them is when ireland was suppressed by the british for 800 years, it was common practice for catholic priests to be hung for seeing to the spritual needs of their congregations. the '' crime'' was one of strict liability.
