if they used modern vamps, why not use modern zombies. these zombies are form 1968 night of the living dead. they sould have used the zombies from resident evil. those things mutate and they run. those zombies just walk very slowly. i think the zombies in resident evil would have won.

That match up was so stupid. The odds were against the zombies because the scene was in a building with only 169 zombies when there would actually be a lot more than that. And the vampires couldn't be harmed by garlic which was even more stupid, and of course they would make them have super strength. and to top it all off, some of the zombies were dying before he even hit them.

Ok the whole Vampires contracting the virus is some bull$hit. Vampires are already undead. If a zombie bites a corpse it won't jump up and turn into a zombie. That was a load of crap they invented to try even the odds. You go up against centuries of disease, and plagues and now some lowly virus the equivalent to swine flu is a danger to you?

@NovaCaneKills11 the undead vampire thing isn't used anymore. a lot of modern day vampires aren't undead. and who says vampires are immune to disease? humans have been with disease for 100,000 years that doesn't mean we're immune. viruses mutate all the time and the zombie virus (if it existed) would be way more dangerous than swine flu. the show never said it's guaranteed they can get it just that it's a possibility. besides this is all fictional the laws of science depends on the writer.

the claws penetrated the temple which is the weakest part of the skull and dug into the brain five fingers going through the brain would instantly kill a zombie the Vampires also had enhanced Strength so the strike would do more damage
