Not lindsey not joe walsh, the person was only with her a breef time then left her, wasent her falt he left, it just had to be! she loved joe walsh a great deal but he used her then dump her like a hot potato, he never loved her ask howard stern on FM radio he knows joes walsh's intent about stevie nicks and the relationship, joe walsh saw stevie as only a road f*uck and he used her for that purpose, his own words on FM Radio J/W, by stevie nicks man David Coffin*
Yea...great demo to be made into a "real" song for her next solo...( I'M STILL WAITING!!! :(...ARRRGGG!!!!) Would be perfect for a Stevie 2009 solo album song due it's reflective denotation. Keep on rocking Stevie and all my friends of Stevie, like me, out there...LOVE YOU GUYS! :)
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard from Stevie. The lyrics are very emotional and heartfelt. She should definitely put this on an album!
to me it sounds more like a TITN to TOSOTM demo. that little bit of a rough voice comes through, and the music. it could be either Joe Walsh or Lindsay Buckingham. by that point she loved and lost both of them. after Lindsay leaving FM and around same time as she wrote Long way 2 go. Very sad, but maybe showing 2 much 2 b put on an album. if it was joe walsh then i think it would b on an album, but not Lindsay.
I love this song and great video- however I have always been under the impression this song was about Joe Walsh (esp. since it's RAL era) who she has now gone on record to say was the greatest love of her life, would have married, and it took her a long time to get over it "if she ever did get over it" (great article I've the link if anyone is interested.) So sad!
wow. i really like this song. this is heart breaking! and i believe he loves her still! i think that she knows it though. one question, is this just a demo? b/c i would love to have it if she has released it.
I wish they would of stayed together. they make such an entrancing couple. great video.i thought that i had heard all of fleetwood mac's songs but this one was a first. thanks
Hi! May3ct actually compiled the images and gave me permission to also air it here. It is my fave Stevie demo ever!!! I hope she releases a studio version of it

At 2:50 the girl with Lindsey, Is that Stevie?

Bleh it looks like the woman who put me back on Stevie's "therapy"
I can't tell. She's really short, maybe that girl is taller.

No that is Carol Ann Harris - his girlfriend at the time.

Terrific tune. Another demo good enough to be on an album at the very least. This would make a good movie song.

What time is this from?
I'm guessing sometime inbetween WH and RAL?

This sounds to me like it's from approximately 1975 or 6. She sounds REALLY young. Much younger than WH.

It is a Rock A Little demo.
