to me it sounds more like a TITN to TOSOTM demo. that little bit of a rough voice comes through, and the music. it could be either Joe Walsh or Lindsay Buckingham. by that point she loved and lost both of them. after Lindsay leaving FM and around same time as she wrote Long way 2 go. Very sad, but maybe showing 2 much 2 b put on an album. if it was joe walsh then i think it would b on an album, but not Lindsay.

I love this song and great video- however I have always been under the impression this song was about Joe Walsh (esp. since it's RAL era) who she has now gone on record to say was the greatest love of her life, would have married, and it took her a long time to get over it "if she ever did get over it" (great article I've the link if anyone is interested.) So sad!
