Ok so here's my problem with the second to last. Basically Hohenheim does everything to save the entire country and everybody else does nothing with their puny attacks which only make Dwarf use up the stone. That in itself is ridiculous because if he were that damn old he could have figured out that he should just leave. Then Ed punches him in the face which kills him essentially, which anyone there could have done themselves. Ed was practically useless the entire time.

@Lemonducky86 That's what he left for a whole ten years to do. They HAD to use the stone, otherwise he would've just been all "you cant touch me" until he was done with whatever he was doing. And you couldn't really hide anywhere. the dude sucked everyone into his little room when he was ready. Ed was closest to him, most of the credit goes to him. But mainly it was Greed. btw, Ed punched him in the gut, and that did him in. The punch in the face weakened him.

If that weren't enough, Ed sacrifices nothing but the ability to use alchemy to bring Al back in his original body. Then Hohenheim dies alone with nobody giving a dirt even though he is the one who brought everyone's souls back in the first place. And Armstrong has the balls to say to Hohenheim that everyone would have been dead if it weren't for Ed and Al. And they couldn't end it there, they have to shove in that bull last episode which had no reason to exist at all.

@Lemonducky86 Actually, that's not what he did. He sacrificed his portal of truth. Thus, he lost all of the truth of the world that he had gained through that portal. Essentially, yes as a result losing his Alchemy, but that wasn't really the whole deal. He basically sacrificed his memories. The outcome was like the end of the original. Ed couldn't do alchemy, and oen of them lost all of their memories of the 4 years.

Oh, and how the fuck was Envy a serpent, wasn't he Hoeenheim's kid? There was no frigging point in that. Also, Noah, useless, they coulda asked Ed to tell them what they needed. Shall I continue?

I just watched FMA all the way through for the first time and was left with WTF?! Good series,enjoyed it. Sad the Manga has ended but glad we have FMAB. Both are good. :) And so is this song.

THe ending is absolute shit, but the anime does have it's better moments. I say you watch it, but don't go into it with high expectations.

I think Brotherhood is best, because Ed doesn't die in the end, that pissed me off. But its not a cheesy ending either. He just looses his Gate of Truth, but anyway, its funnier and much better voice acting I have to say! :D

But still both FMA and FMAb ROX MY SOX ALL PVER JAPAN!!!

@AnimeUnite122 If you say so. I don't know which version you watched, but I think the English Voice acting was top notch in the old FMA. The show even won best voice acting and is what made Vic Magnonia very famous. They put a lot of emotion in the first series, but the voice acting wasn't that good in the brotherhood version. In English that was. It wasn't Vic or any of the old cast. It was all the new cast. Another thing, I hated Brotherhood's animation and detail designs.

They did have Vic in Brotherhood, and Izumi, Sig, Mustang, and a lot of other people still had there same voices, its just really Al that had his voice changed, becuase his voice actor was being transfered. But I do agree that the animation and voice acting did suck until episode 5 or 6, it got a LOT better.

@AnimeUnite122 Like I said, the old VA's were fine. It was the new ones like the voices for the new characters and some old ones like Marcoh and Scar. I hated their voices sorry. I like the old FMA series OST soundtrack more than the brotherhood one as well. Though brotherhood does have a few good ones.

Ah, but the thing is, I don't simply prefer the first FMA; I actually, for the most part, hate FMA:B, especially the ending, and I kind of wish the show had never been made. It is, even though it follows the manga, a disgrace to the first anime.
