elder kai said it himself potara earring fusion is way stronger than the dance. this means in a 1v1 fight, vegito would win against gogeta. HOWEVER, when vegito was born they (vegeta and goku) were only capable of ss2 and ss3, definitely not close to ss4 when fused. if they could have fused as vegito then went ss4, he'd be way stronger
